Ian can be difficult to understand though, so if English isn't their first language, I'm sure it was even more challenging. But you'd think someone in the office could have transcribed it better than that! I'd volunteer! Sounds like a great job to me

Interesting, indeed. Wish it weren't started by an expression of their great albums like "Screaming for A Vengeance [sic]" (and UGH) and later adding that they had to work longer to add Richie to "an extend" (uh..extent?) but fine interview nonetheless.
Just wish it were not either transcribed or translated by a goofy writer. Seems like they taped him and tried to piece together what he said later. "Screaming for A Vengeance" though? Come on. Let Eddie Trunk do the interview! He wouldn't be stumped!

The previous message with the video was not supposed to be a quoted message, but I don't know why the page did not allow me to post it normally in this section as it does in any other

I have a great interview that is a "panel" discussion of the 5 band members from 1986 during Fuel Foe Life Tour.
They answer 20 questions from an audience.
If I can upload it from the VHS tape I will email you.
Glenn mentions if he was not in a band he would be a gynecologist.
(Wonder if he took that idea from Alex Van Halen at the end of the Hot For Teacher Video?)

Halford interviews you've never heard before!
I've been digging through some really old cassettes and found some of my old Rob Halford-interviews.
One of them is from Swedish national radio 1984, a rock-show called Rockdepartementet, where Rob begins with "I'm 32 years old...". Talk about stepping into a time-machine...!
The next interview is an "as-is" interview from the Painkiller tour back in 1991. It's about 45 minutes and not even I have heard the whole thing since it was done!
I used to record everything so that I wouldn't forget what had been said when it was time to write my article. This particular interview was also aired on a small Swedish radio station, Radio MCB once - but only about 50% of the whole interview.
It's as exclusive as it gets for those who are collecting Halford-stuff. I can guarantee that you've never ever heard this one.
I posted "Part 1" today. There will be part 2 and 3 as I dig out more...
You'll find the blog and the audio-files in an embedded player HERE.
