Back in 1977 a person in the neighborhood drove a mustang with judaspriest logo painted on back body panels , i thought it was the coolest looking car it's a vintage rock-n-roll car by todays standards , i played drums in a rock cover band we played Living after midnight without a singer . Sad wings of destiny and british steel are top favorites heck i totally rock out to every song judas has ever written ! Neon Dave Flores .

Priest world tour programme 1979 for sale.
Dear all - just posted my old tour programme on ebay (uk), which I picked up when I saw priest at the old hammy odeon back in '79 with Marseille in support. Mine is the one with initial price of £4.99... if you fancy owning a bit of priest history, go for it !

Should that precious connection ever be severed by the sands of time and countless numbers of megabytes, there's always Norman. You both share a remarkable number of traits. You both hate the same people, have been scorned, and have created countless amounts of profiles specifically to target someone from this particular site. Where do I find information pertaining to copyright laws that protect the band?
I need permission from Judas Priest in order to publish my book.
Please send me whatever forms of consent I may require.

Hey there!!! Just wanted to pass this along to you guys and don't know who is going to get it or if you are going to get it. But, I am one of the founders of The Friends of Restore the Shore - Virginia Beach and want to get some information out to Hampton Roads local Scott Travis. We are having a killer benefit at Boneshaker's Sports Bar & Grill on December 15th from 1-6 pm. I don't know where you guys are touring right now but if anyone is heading home for the holidays maybe Scott will be back in his hometown and be able to come but and make an appearance.
Rob from Butter and I have spoke and he is going to try and make it down as well. They were unable to play due to previous obligations. We also share a friend in Joe Markham. Anyway...here is the infomation below and well.....do what you can. Hell...if you are all around come rip the place up it's been a long time a comin' for me to see you guys again and I don't know when you are coming to my area.
Thanks in advance and have a great holiday season guys!! KEEP ROCKIN'

First time posting tonight. I've been a JP fan since the 1980's. Just watched Behind the Music and decided to look up the official web site and signed up. I've seen JP in concert three times and loved every show. I have the DVD "Rising in the East" and absolutely love it. One of my favorite songs is "Diamonds and Rust" from "Unleashed in the East" and really like the original version. I have many great memories listening to them. I'm sure there are many memories I can't remember as well. lol

Judas Priest, boycott your upcoming dates in Saint Petersburg, Russia, which recently enacted severe anti-gay legislation. This is the new, gay Sun City. Don't be part of it.
I have been a fan of Judas Priest since I was in 8th grade! 1980! They are by far the most amazing and talented band!
Rob Halford Is the best front man with the most amazing vocals and K.K and Glen are like twin guitarists! They work together
so well and have this amazing wall of sound coming from two guitars! Judas Priest is by far the BEST and MOST talented Metal band around!

I paid tribute to The Godfathers of Metal by creating a version of Night Comes Down and placed the video of it on youtube. Now, EMI records say I may be introuble for doing so. Is anyne out there interested in owning KK Downing,s old 1989 Range rover Vogue, my son owns it at the moment.
KK owned it for 21 years till 2010.
He has paperwork proving KK,s ownership ,plus a decent service history -he is not looking for a lot of money for it.
We are in Cumbria UK.

Hey Priest Fans,
Been a hjuge Priest fan since 1981 (at 11 years old). My first two priest live experiences were at US Festival 83' and Defenders of the Faith tour in Portland Oregon. Just joined this forum for the first time from herein Oregon USA.
I am on a search for one memoribilia item I don't have, a genuine RIAA Gold or Platinum award for a Priest album, Stained Class through Turbo if possible. Although I do enjoy the new stuff I grew up on the 80's Priest collection.
Like many fans I'm sure experienced, I wanted and learned to play guitar based on my love for the dual-axe Judas Priest experience. Now I own a Sound Rental business and design high-end Audio/Video systems is about all I do in teh industry, although I maintain a nice collection of Guitars and Basses.
Bummed that Judas Priest's date in Washington was all General Admission, I have some physical problems that makes General Admission a problem (if they had suites or a reserved seatng area where people like me can be comfortable I so would have been there with my Son and Nephew, both recent Priest fans.

Does anyone know about the $20 ticket sale that was announced this morning? I just went to buy tickets but the prices seem the same.
Massive chains adorned steaming smokestacks. Colossal pyro singed the first four rows. Smoke cannons belched to the rafters. A thousand lasers dazzled our brains. And none of it was necessary once the first note of unbelievable volume reached our ears.
If they’ve lost a bit of agility, the initial number proved Judas Priest has lost no talent, skill, or edge in four decades. Rob Halford’s vocals rang crystal clear and strong; high notes carried to the furthest reach of the stadium seemingly without amplification. His ability to sustain would shame a distance runner’s wind. Glenn Tipton’s quiet confidence carried his skilled lead notes in waves over the floor. The refined candor in that smile we so easily recognize engaged every fan near the front.
While Ian Hill held post at the rear, his bass came through powerfully, as did percussion from Scott Travis. Richie Faulkner, new to the line-up this year, supplied athletic antics, riffs, and a huge grin. Obviously having the time of his life, he gave us the time of ours.
The chronology led us through 40 years of heavy metal, from its birth to present with JP there every step of the way. Sure, the most hard-core Priest fans know every song from every collection from every decade, but this history of album covers on the big screen and insightful commentary between songs brought all of us into the creative mindset.
Despite several bogus set lists circling the World Wide Web, the night included all the crowd-pleasers:
·A tongue-in-cheek, “Turbo Lover.”
·“Hell Bent for Leather” replete with obligatory chrome.
·Full fan lead vocals in “Breakin’ the Law” (but that’s okay because everyone from veterans to Biebers knew the lyrics).
·Raucous crowd response in “You Got Another Thing Comin’.”
·High energy “Livin’ After Midnight” as a closer.
Halford bestowed upon “Diamonds and Rust” a haunting ballad lead-in, and equally haunting credit to writer, Joan Baez.
But the stand-out number of the night could only be “Nostradamus.” From sound quality to cadence to glam reaper costuming, they nailed it, hands down.
Epitaph is defined as a phrase written in memory of someone passed. It’s a misnomer in this case – Judas Priest will never be past-tense.

Epitaph: Rest in Priest
Johnstown, PA – 11.19.2011

I have to know if the U.S. tour will continue in 2012 after the leg in Japan?
Us fans in the state of Wisconsin sure hope you make it somewhere further north than Hammond Indiana some time before you end the Epitaph tour. I've seen the band in the city of Milwaukee, outdoors at the Alpine Valley Ski Resort (west of Milwaukee, also famous as the site where we lost Stevie Ray Vaughn) and I've caught the band a couple of times in Green Bay, Wisconsin as well. But I have to see the Epitaph tour.
By the way, I'm a 55 year old guitarist/vocalist that still covers some of my personal favorites like "Victim of Changes", "Beyond the Realms", & "Dreamer/Deceiver" in my band and at every appearance we make in my statewide area.

I agree completely. I realize that huge world tours have to pick and choose their sites but... No shows within 1300 km of Winnipeg? Not even Minnesota?! For an idea of the scale we're talking about, put a circle with a 1300 km radius over the British Isles... How could the heart of the continent get left "out in the cold" like this?
Meanwhile St. Louis and Chicago are only 475 km apart. There's one show in each and one (Springfield) in between.
Why not one show in the Grand Forks Alerus Center or the Fargo Dome? That would give fans in Manitoba, North Dakota and South Dakota and chance. I'm sure there would be many in the crowd from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nebraska and Iowa too.
Priest has given me a lot through the years, and I'd love one more chance to 'pay my respects' as it were.
JAPAN TOUR DATE 2012 I am wondering if they are really coming to Japan. Tokyo date which has just announced 2012 - Japan: 16th february Budokan / Tokyo is not for Judas Priest concert, said the Venue(Budokan) Artist Other than Judas Priest is going to held the concert at Budokan.
