Lord, this brings back TIRING memories! She was one to rant in one large sentence - another who seemingly did not learn how to use a period (.). Her Englis is better than twatroll's but, damn, what a loon. Sad that she didn't even get a mention on the radio?!? Another delusional. She and twat are right for one other. I see a budding relationship there!

Ugh. Talk about tedious blah blah blah! Almost as bad as Trixi save that twat here talks to herself more than anyone else! That includes snot herself!

Where would we be without 70's and 80's metal, it's the best of all time. I don't think there will ever be another era of metal like that. I like your video and it's good to see fans like you keeping it alive.

Yes the solo is the highlight of March of the Damned, i believe it's Richie Faulkner on that one. They guy is really quick.

[Turbo...Lover] Monday, June 15, 2015 11:45:42 AM
There's just something about that tv show and song that rubs me the wrong way. If Rob Halford had never made that comment then i might have liked it more. I don't completly dislike the second half of Redeemer, it's ok but it just doesn't do it for me like the first half. The first half really rolls along until you get to Hell & Back and it starts to loose steam from there. Cold Blooded is a bit blah, Metalizer is ok, Crossfire is average, Secrets of the Dead is kind of boring, Rob kind of sings out of his range on Battle Cry, Beginning of the End is not bad and a unusual way to end the album. Overall though their best effort in quite a while.

Hello All !!

I am a 80's metal lover and a Priest lover obviously so here I am

One of the greatest Metal bands of all time and forever lives on

I guess since its my first post here and being that I did this earlier today..

here is my alternate Another thing coming solo. I cover the song in my classic metal setlist and while I love the original solo, I wanted to improvise my own,.

Long live Priest !!!!

Ya know, my thoughts EXACTLY with regard to "March of the Damned!" Had I NOT heard Rob mention "The Walking Dead," I might not have the image I do in mind whenever I hear it. Still another try at "Metal Gods."

LOVE the album as a whole but, nope, that particular song does not do it for me either. Talk about a killer opening song to the album and concert, though!! Not much but this beats "Rapid Fire" in all the shows I have seen:

I would like all of the first half of Redeemer if it wasn't for March of the Damned. Rob Halford mentioned it was based on The Walking Dead tv show and that ruined it for me. It Kind of sounds like they were trying to do another Metal Gods and it just didn't work. Not for me anyway.

The second half is a bit slow for a Priest album. I think some of the bonus tracks should have been on the main album. Maybe they could have switched a few out. I'm typing this on my phone LOL so don't laugh if I make mistakes. Les binks was a great drummer with that double kick drum.
Burning up is a killer song.

Yes, Hell Bent for Leather rocks. That whole album just flows and each song just melts into the next. I'm a big fan of Les Binks. He kills it on Hell Bent. His solo at the end of Delivering the Goods is classic.Yeah, long time fan here and I've been listening to this band for many years. What do you think about Redeemer of Souls? I like the first half of the album but say the second half of it kind of lags.

You know, "ozzypriest", most new people introduce themselves and post a few things before they decide to remain a respectful member of the community, or lash out like a samurai whose eyes had just been gouged out.

So let's start over. Tell us your name, where you're from (if you wish), how long you've been a 'Priest fan, and which JP albums are your favorites.

Yup, even in my exhausted state I thought you had Burnin' Up in there. One of the true gems when it picks up a bit towards the finale, IMO. <==don't get me started again. lol.

Evening Star? Bleah. Taken OTW? Anthem...eh. Before the Dawn? I honestly don't normally skip that one. Again, where it sits on the recording and I feel it is rather introspective. Sure. "B-side" but not as bad as the "anthem songs" that I and many others wish they would file away. DTG, as you know, is my personal fav followed by all others you name (not necessarily in that order) of the "A-side." (funny as most kiddies don't even know what the hell a "side" even is!

Like the overdubbing of "Stained Class." Even more, the fools that still call it "Stained GLASS." "Saints in Hell" was never one of my go-to songs but better than "Savage."

Worst? Here I was driving home after a 22+ hour commute (took some 25 when I left Paris to home) and the damn Boneyard kept cycling bad songs from VH, Sabbath (+Ozzy, of course) and Motorhead. THREE Priest tunes: FFS, I am dead tired and they play the throwaway "Living After Midnight." Then it was "Locked In" (better) and the only other was "SCREAMMMMING!" as I was pulling into my own drive at 2am my time (9am Paris time). Had to sit in my car for that one.

Yeah guido its Evening Star,Take On The World,Burnin' up,Before The Dawn and Evil Fantasies......these 5 tracks that make up half of the HBFL album are B-sided materiel (IMO) .

Ive never liked those 5 tracks since the early 80's lol   Delivering The Goods,Rock Forever,Hell Bent For Leather,The Green Manilishi,Killing Machine and Running Wild are 6 classic JP tracks I have always liked

Never cared for the title track "Stained Class" either....nor Saints In Hell or Savage...those 3 off Stained Class Ive also never have liked.I know most fans do though.

And yeah.....I wonder just "WHO" that could be who popped in.....who likes Ozzy and Priest...

dum,dum da dum da da dum dum der?  Lol

HAAAAAA!!! J.D. Break out the big metal balls for some solid "peening!" LOL!!!
Yeah, just rotated back home and am catching up on this convo. What didn't you like, though? "Burnin' up? If so (to tired / lazy to backread now), I'd defend that one. "United" and that other crap, though? Whomever with the bad English and all in colored CAPS that I read while abroad. Hmmm. Seems to know you and the board. Gee wonder who zat idiot could possibly be?? Ah, certainly a newbie. Especially one who goes by the new "ALL CAPS" of Ozzy_Priest bs. Wow, Shitty English, likes Ozzy, thinks everything Priest does is gold but prolly has seen them once or never in their lifetime. Makes me scratch my head.

Oh, BTW, I wanted to be called "Turbo_Lover!"   Guess you'll have to call me "The Rage" (kinda sounds like I should be in U2?" eh?) living on the "Island of Domination."

You say Hell Bent For Leather is "sophisticated" and "complex".

Laughing my ass off LOL! Dude....ha ha ha Nostradamus is sophisticated and complex...(even though I don't care for it,but it is ha)

The whole Hell Bent For Leather album is totally basic lol!

Rob sings out of his range on Battle Cry and Hell Bent For Leather is sophisticated and complex.
Your on a roll grasshopper ha ha ha.

Judas Priest have been my #1 FAVORITE band since 1981 before you were born.

With a name like "Turbo Lover" are you going to think you can have a serious "Metal" chat with me? Lol   REALLY?

No I do not consider Judas Priest a "Trendy Band"
They are an experimental band at times.

Hell Bent is still classic Priest but those 5 songs off it I listed are terrible to me.

Hell Bent for Leather is sophisticated, it's heavy and complex. It's Rob Halford on top of his game. One of the greatest old school metal albums of all time.

Dragonaut!, now thats some down and dirty Judas Priest metal.
[Turbo...Lover] Friday, May 15, 2015 4:14:52 PM
No, not true. I just stated his opinion on British Steel. If he came out tomorrow and said he liked all of Redeemer it wouldn't change my opinion of that record in any way. Do you consider Judas Priest a trendy band?

Just think:  if Jim Floerntine of that crappy metal show and the trendy "Boneyard"  radio station were to come out tomarrow and say there is no bad tracks on the Redeemer Of Souls album" YOU " would have to change your statement and agree.......why?  Well after all,"Jim Floretine off  that metal show" and "The Boneyard" said so.

LOL. But TRUE.

Hell Bent For Leather is HALF great and half poor.
Evening Star,Take On The World,Burnin'Up,Before The Dawn,Evil Fantasies are 5 terrible songs!
Thats HALF an album of B-sided material.

Jim F. Of that RETARDED METAL SHOW and the trendy Boneyard shit station says there are no bad tracks on British Steel.....so what?   Thats supposed to change my mind?   United song sucks and should of been left off.

Lol and how exactly does Rob sing out of his range on Battle Cry?  Lol  Thats the most ridiculous thing youve posted yet ha.

Redeemer Of Souls album crushes the Hell Bent For Leather album by FAR. IMO and you think otherwise cool.  But Rob singing out of his range is absurd and I dont know what your hearing but on my CD its perfect.

The second half of Hell Bent For Leather runs out of steam unless you like Take On The World, Burnin'Up, Before The Dawn and Evil Fantasies....

Down In Flames,Hell And Back,Cold Blooded,Crossfire,Secrets Of The Dead and the awsome Battle Cry are 6 supurb Judas Priest tracks that blow away  Evening Star,Take On The World,Burnin Up,Before The Dawn and Evil Fantasies out the window by FAR.

Yes, 1/2 of an album is better than nothing. I like Down in Flames but after that it runs out of steam. Rob Halford sings out of his range on the chorus of Battle Cry so that ruins it for me.

Head Banger I dont care for Revolution either as a single but somehow listening to AOR in its entirety(except for Lochness) its not as bad? Makes no sense whatsoever.

Long live Angel Of Retribution!

I used to love the track united. now. skip
I didnt love fever, but take these chains works for me.
for defenders, I could lose eat me alive, night comes down I like though
one shot at glory I love. keep that one please.

AOR I still have to skip Lochness, even though I love the album. trim about 75% of that song and it might be a good short track. but its not short and its boring as ass. other than that the whole album flows

but its not just about each song, its how they work together.

IMO
[guidogodoy] Tuesday, May 12, 2015 7:41:56 PM
Ok, while past 2am here you know I have to post the last of the eve as YOU, my friend, are a true fan and you know I love it. Not some simple sheep following blindly. Rock on, bro.

United - with you on that one. Always skip it.

Take these chains (I like it...notice I didn't play it when I mentioned that I needed a Priest fix though); Fever? Eh, like it but agree. Kind of a throw away tune, IMO.

I defend Defenders to the death and you know it! I LOVE Night Comes Down as I find it to be introspective as I have posted in the past. Almost Rob's thoughts about his career at the time. Love both the melody and the lyrics. I could say the same for Touch of Evil. Same theme, IMO <== notice the repeat. As you said, IMO!!!  Eat Me Alive? Yup, love it too. Got a real punch to it. Any dumbass want to bring up the homo crap can just eat ME alive. Could care less about that topic. I just like the song, plain and simple.

Dead against both your calls for Painkiller. Love both songs you didn't. Hell Patrol's build to "RIPPING OUT HEAAAAARTS!" is just awesome. One Shot? I like it. Especially where it sits on the recording. MY fav album? No. I am not Hellrider (where did he go anyway? Get knocked off his bike or something? Blow himself up trying to make it spit flames or just jaded that there was no 3 guitar JP a la Maiden?).

Finally, you know I love the latest album. Instant classic Priest. Nah, not a big fan of either song you mentioned and I'd throw March OTD in there as well. Not "bad" per se but just too much like what Rob said in that it was more a spin off The Walking Dead (aka....Metal Gods!!), again IMO!!!

Right on, compadre. Keep on "Defending" our right to use our own judgement! LOL!!!  Damn...now gonna have to play something off of Sad Wings before sleeping! TRUE classic Priest ..... wait for it....IMO!!!

[J.D. DIAMOND] Tuesday, May 12, 2015 3:45:10 PM
United off of British Steel could of been left off the album so that makes British Steel not totally right....

.they should of left Take These Chains and Fever off Screaming For Vengeance...that would of made it totally right.....

They should of left Eat Me Alive(childish lyrics) and the boring "Night Comes Down" off of Defenders of The Faith...THAT would of made it totally right...

They should of left Hell Patrol and One Shot At Glory off the Painkiller album....THAT would of made Painkiller totally right....

They leave Metalizer and The Begining of the end off Redeemer of Souls and it too would be totally right.  Its all opinions, mine isn't "totally right to you" and yours is not totally right for me....

Head Banger claims Angel Of Retribution to be the bands best album of all time and to him it is.....

But glad to read you like half the new album none the less here.....but it fades after the first half?  Man...Down In Flames,Hell And Back are magic....
Cold Blooded is so cool,Crossfire ....Secrets Of The Dead is supurb.....Battle Cry is classic.

This album has 11 golden classic traditional heavy metal tracks and only 2  B -sided throw away tracks(Metalizer and Begining Of The End) in my book.

The other 11 tracks are Judas Priest GOLD.
Best album since 1982's Screaming For Vengeance.   Crossfire alone is just as great as Killing Machine if not better.

Hey, long time fan here. The new album is pretty good. I would say it's the best thing the band has done since getting back together with Rob Halford. Some very good songs and some that are just kind of there. The first half of the album is the best then it kind of drops off after that. Overall though the best thing they have done in a while. Maybe the next album will be the one they get totally right.

Geez, guess I don't have enough lame "Respect Points" to post anywhere interesting, so I suspect this will be ignored. Is anyone else pissed off at the lame "More to be revealed shortly" message that has been dangling here for days with no other news? As usual, Priest is being mismanaged. You don't tease with an announcement like that and let days turn into weeks without at least something to indicate a timeline. Great band. One of the best. I certainly don't blame the bad. I blame poor management. "Please remember, that anything we deem to be offensive may result in your account being banned." I wonder if my post qualifies? Let's see if they find the truth offensive. LOL. Feel free to email me oh master of what is offensive.

To all you Priest fans out there.  I am a long time Priest fan.  Back in 1986, I was privileged to meet the Priest and win a motorcycle used in the Locked In and Turbo Lover videos.  I have had the motorcyle (the one with the side car) for the entire time.  I have come to realization that I need to part with the motorcyle and am offering the motorcyle to a true Priest fan.  I can provide futher details, but this was a contest on MTV (when MTV was real) in April 1986.  I am looking for the best offer from the person(s) who would like to be the new owner of the motorcycle.  I will not be able to ship the motorcyle to the new owner.  Details can be discussed.  I can be reached at [email protected]

I heard that Priest is going to be at the Rock n Roll Fantasy Camp in Las Vegas from Feb. 27 through March 2, 2014 and I would love to go but can't afford to attend the camp itself. I would love, if possible, to arrange to fly out there for one day to meet with the band prior to or after the camp is done. Does anybody know who I 'd contact to see if that could happen?
