Love me some Halford (with or without all caps). My favorite album from them is Crucible. For me, it's the ultimate Heavy Metal feast. Yes, I'm sure there's more heavy stuff out there, but this one is special. Not sure why.

Was it Jawbreaker? Personally, I thought the Halford version of Jawbreaker kicked ass!! Mike Davis on bass - HOLY FUCK!!!! THAT is how the bass should be at a Priest show. Sorry Ian, but move out of the shadows and CRANK IT UP! We all know Ian can play, but it's turned down and you can't hear the notes like you can at a Halford show.

I had the same experience with a "fan" yelling play some Priest when Halford was playing Heart Of A Lion. I screamed at the moron, "THAT WAS PRIEST YOU DUMBASS!!" He shut up after that

I can't get into Halford's solo material at all. Even though his current band is supposed to be "traditional" metal, there's just something missing and it still sounds too modern. The less said about 2wo the better, and Fight's "groove metal" style doesn't appeal to me either.

I dont know why but I just cant get into the Halford band.  I dont like most of the songs, and live they were like a poor priest cover, when they played priest stuff.  I cant remember which song, but it was a priest song, less popular the dude behind me yelled out play some priest.

that was funny, but overall ozzy was a way better set I thought, and I am not a huge fan of his.

Fight, now that I liked. in fact I think they played into the pit or nailed to the gun at the halford show, and that might have been the highlite.

That's true, who knows what will happen next in the world of JP and Halford!

You'd probably have a better shot at HALFORD coming to NZ than Priest unfortunately. But who knows? If the new Priest album is a hit, they just may go back out on the road

That'd be nice, although I'd rather see Judas Priest on the road again and down here in my neck of the woods don't see it happening though.
