My first Judas Priest show was January 9, 1983.
I had FRONT ROW! Back in those days the shows were general admission. Judas Priest had been an important part of junior high and high school. No drugs for me-- I can remember every moment of the show. It was magnificent!

"Totally redesigned the stage set" = draping cloth over the speakers and adding plastic chains
Sorry had to say it.

My first JP concert was in 1979 when they supported for AC/DC in Amsterdam. At that time I was 20 years of age. Yesterday I saw JP for the 10th time in Tilburg/Netherlands accompanied by my 16-year old daughter who is a huge fan and she received Glenn's plectrum after the show. I sure hope to see this great band more often.

My first Judas Priest concert was in Florence (Italy) for Ram it Down Tour 1985. Incredible. I was in front of the stage after a long battle to reach it, but at last I won. I have also a souvenir. At the end of the concert I catched the plecturm of KK and now is framed in my garage.

My first Judas Priest concert was 1981 at the Stanley Theatre in Pittsburgh, Pa..
Iron Maiden opened followed by Whitesnake. I hate them both now but they were
awesome back then. I couldn't believe how badass Priest was. British Steel turned
me on to them. This concert hooked me!

My 1st time seeing the Metal Gods was last August--I had tix for them back in 1983 but my mom had had a massive stroke that month & needed round the clock care--so I'm glad I didn't go in 1983 because my mom died around Christmas that year & I was glad I got to spend time with her--also cancelled Def Leppard tix that year too but my mom was so worth it

I actually hope that Judas Priest will headline on one of the days at the MAGIC CIRCLE FESTIVAL 2009 this summer - that would be awesome.
And I know for sure that all MANOWAR fans also love Judas Priest!

|Very cool dude! Hopefully you`ll get to see Manowar on the same bill!
