Half of the arena is roped off and the stage has been moved up to the middle of the arena. i guess they are already anticipating poor tix sales and they are figuring the toal capacity at the show to be 8,000, if that. The arena holds 20,000. I am also hearing tix sales have been poor in detroit and other parts of the US. | I have a feeling Priest is gonna be doing ozzfest this summer. Both Ozzy and Priest's last date listed is 8/11. Priest is usually more forthcoming with dates and ozzfest usually plays games with the fans and makes them wait till the end of spring for info, so I'm thinking priest can't announce anything till ozzfest does. This is just me speculating, but there were a few rumors floating around. |

My sentiments about Priest coming to South Africa... How can they not come here? We've had so many great bands out but none hold a torch to Priest.. How can they retire from touring and claim to have toured the world when they haven't been to your side or my side Becks??

You mean people are speculating that they are going to tour for 14-15 months with a small break in between and come to the USA next summer?? I mean yeah, it's supposed to be the last tour and all, but that seems like a bit of a stretch to me. But all the speculation aside, Judas priest always came here in the summer and I always preferred it that way. By the time the fall hits, I'm usually broke from going to a zillion concerts in the summer. I much prefer the outdoor ampitheater atmosphere rather than the small indoor arenas and the theaters and all that. But either way I'll be at several shows! : )

They took a long break between the Priest Feast and the 30th Anniversary British Steel tour, so the same thing happening this year is will most likely happen. And if not, then yeah, looks like we'll have to put the rest of our lives on hold for the rest of the year.

Old timer here - frankly was suprised my account was still active. I'll be wandering off to post updates on me - somewhere-
