Effing iPod decided to forget all the music I put on...
Then it has the nerve to tell me there is no space left on the drive!
"Restart" brings the "Welcome!" message cheerily-in about 30 different languages...
And it will not sync...
Does anyone know what's going on? I haven't dropped it in a while.
WTF!

your thinking of the okanogan valley.
our best temperate rain forests are on the west side of vancouver island.
I am in the rain shadow of the Rocky mountains though. whatever moisture makes it past the coast range, then past the selkirks, drops on the west side of the rockys, leaving alberta dry. You wouldn't expect these conditions in Canada. I forgot the name of the valley, but it was one of Canada's most famous wine growing regions. The area west of the Coast Mountains is completely different. It's very wet and rainy. That's where Canada's temperate rainforests grow. The same phenomenon exists here in California.

Even as far inland as I am I'm still considered a part of the east coast climate and with the big mountains around us it causes even more rain. I dont know why that is so scientifically but I know it is true. It's been suckin' here all summer! LOL
