Oh, come on. We all know how "innovative" and "what a contribution / influence to the genre" Bon Jovi has been over the years. After all, that is the stated mission of what the R&R HoF tries to identify.
I don't dare ask how Bon Jovi has influenced people. Hell, what is the genre? I personally don't mind 'em. Props to Richie. Good sense of humor with Jon. Hell, Triumph sums it up pretty well....

Yup, I saw that pic. Vinyl, if I remember correctly. Yes, definitely torture, especially when one wonders as to their fate. Will they be sold for, like, $10 more just 'cause they're autographed, or will they be raffled off? Or will they be given to the first 100 or so fans that pre-order an album? Arrrgh, the suspense!!!

Oh, of course. Why I was asking about the TOTAL number of votes. How many times they were nominated is right by their years. LL Cool J was nominated 4 times...in four different YEARS. Rufus...two times = two YEARS. Certainly not publishing their super-duper secret votes by an opaque society of dimwits one by one. Big unveiling to come on the 13th of December, of course. Stated right there on the page.
My comment was just that I am amazed to see those goofballs nominated a couple+ times and was curious to know the total FAN votes of the top five. Six or seven, really. Would have liked to have seen how much higher they were against the Killers or Eurythmics.

Go for it Nupe, another album in 3 years, Rob Ian and Glen will be in there 70s ,possibility of a tour declines . I am waitng to see where it lands, I might bite the bullet and fly to Mexico to see them, this could very well be it for Priest @ Guido, I went and looked at my stub, Painkiller "90" my ticket was $30 canadian all in , "86" fuel for life tour was $20.50 all in Lo

Actually, I just checked hotel prices. Because Hyvinkää is a fairly small town most of the hotels in the city and near it are already fully booked (much of them probably by the artists and their crews). The few rooms that are still available cost 300 euros. For one night. Normal prices are like 70-80 euros for a night!
I really need to figure out some way of making this work. I'd hate to miss the show.
