Yeah they forgot to put the luggage on the flight from miami to the bahamas, on the way there. but they sent it all on a cargo plane and it was only a 25 minute wait..  not a day in a half.. 

Geesh.. Its pretty scary looking around the airport and watching the people..  fricken lots of wierdo's.  Esp the staff..LMAO.... but they prob say the same about us common folk. sitting there endless minute after minute waiting to catch the next flight to nowheres ville..   LOL

I read Nikki Sixx's entire book the Heroin Diaries, on my Vacation..  I must say  I couldnt put this book down.,

Other than his rock antics, I will say it cut to the core of the inner deep demons that I also feel about everything,  Life family,  ect.....  It was a interesting look into the mans mind.. and how he managed to escape.   I can honestly say I understand.. it..

I missed everyone... People out on the island have never heard of Judas Priest...  Well Not until I got there....Bahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Hi all.....  Well when I was in Miami waiting for my plane.. I met a guy, talked to him for a while was a very nice man.. 
We were discussing the world.....  ect... 

Then his flight left........  After he walked away I had a guy run up to me and say.... Do you know who you were talking to???   I was like   Ummm All I knew was his name was Ryan.....   Turns out it was Ryan Howard the baseball player for the philly's........... LMAO.......  I dont follow baseball...  I started to laugh... The guy was like you are so lucky..ect....

It gets bad enough here when they backburn here in winter. Because Brisbane is a valley with mountains surrounding it the smoke gets trapped... It smells bad and yes, hurts the eyes. If clothing is left out to dry over night it starts to smell like smoke. In the southern states they get bad bush fires every year. I wouldn't like to live near it.

the last time we have a big fire over here it was terible, the most annoying thing ever.. I don't even live near were the fire started, but the wind kept bringing the smoke to the city area... it was like 3 days I think, that you could not see in the distance like a fog but it was all smoke.... your eyes get so irritated and your throat too... poor those people that lived near those woods

Ohhh crap there's a big fire.... I'll check the news.. I dont watch it very often, that's why i had no idea. They had a total fire ban in Victoria because of the immense heat and the fact that everything is so dry down there. Lucky up here we get a fair bit if rain to keep the overgrowth damp.

By and large, I didn't have any real issues with any of the professors I had....but I did get the distinct impression that some of them were likely frustrated artists who didn't quite make it in their field and opted to teach instead...some were just so unbelievably critical (criticism does build character...that much I get, but we were getting graded on this stuff too!!).

Well, to me, beauty is subjective. So much so that I cannot see the point in the contests. Miss America, Miss World, et al. Far too ambiguous for me to accept a "winner". From what I have seen, they are all pretty good looking. Tough for me to say who is the "best". I mean, I have my preferences, just as anyone else. I have always enjoy pugilism. Growing up in a family with three brothers, we practiced it more than most folks do...HA!!!!!!!!!!!! Fought all the time. I do enjoy a good boxing match but the UFC is something all together different. This is mayhem. When it first began years ago, there were not many "rules" and it was almost like watching gladiators! It was WAY too brutal. As it is now, they have made it more about the martial arts which is interesting but there is that element of brutality that simply cannot be ignored. It is very violent. It is also very intricate and very exciting. The "bigger" man does not always win. Techique means something.

Perhpas it is the carnal nature of man to enjoy this kind of thing? I don't know. I am not a violent person by nature. I do not start fights although I have been in a few in my day. I have been beat up pretty good, too! HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In my younger days, I considered myself a rather "tough" individual but those days are LONG gone.  In any event, I am not ashamed to admit that I like the UFC. On occasion, I pay for a fight.  It may not be a dignified part of me, but it is the truth!

Well...after much research I have discovered (as Bev has alluded to) that you have what are called 'Rank' as in the rank of General, and then there are 'grades' of rank as in Major General and Lieutenant General...this may coincide with how the military personnel is paid as there are 2 factors that determine a soldiers income...rank is one and time in service being the other...

...on a different but similar note, the Navy has a rank of 'Ensign'...an 'Ensign' is an Officer who went through the ranks as an NCO (Non Commisioned Officer ie. Private, Corporal and Sergeant) then at some point completed the requirements to become an Officer as opposed to a person who went to college first THEN joined the military as as Officer from the get go, and given the commission of Lieutenant...
