Aces high, Powerslave, Rime to the Ancient mariner, are the only ones i can play from powerslave. i know many more maiden songs. and a lot of JP too. the solo after the slow section in rime is just so powerful. the way the drum roll leads u to it just sends shivers down my spine. i love it. |

Glad you liked it B.S.! In my humble opinion, the best Maiden CD was Powerslave. I love that CD!
And I love my Eddie with all his parts in one place! God, he's so cute how could anyone not love the Ede!? [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by british.steel from Saturday, July 11, 2009 9:54:39 PM)

Seventh Son - GREAT album. I also am a fan of both the artwork and music on Somewhere in Time although I'd be leaning more towards the art to tell the truth. Caught Somewhere in Time and Wasted Years being my favs. Still, you have to mourn the death of the LP when thinking about how much went into those album covers. Goes for Powerslave too.
Seventh Son was even better as a whole, IMO, and still gave that nice throwback to Eddie's past on the back. Still, tell the truth, I wasn't the only one laughing along singing "Can I Play With Matches?" whenever it came on the radio now, was I? HAAAA!

But somewhere back in time is a great album for me, Caught somewhere in time, Wasted Years, lonileness of the long distance runner, sea of madness and deja vu are my favs, and i think it has one of the coolest album covers ever, because many things in the album art trace back to other albums and concerts they have done. we can agree that maiden had better album covers right? lol | | J.D. I do not like Somewhere In time...there are only 2 tracks that I don't mind "The Loneliness Of The Long Distance Runner" and "Stranger In A Strange Land"...
The other tracks bother me for some unknown reason....its been this way since the album came out and my brain is settled to reject it....
Seventh Son album is FAR better than Somewhere In time.....Not an album I would say as Maiden's best but it does have some good tracks on it
like "Moonchild"......"Infinate Dreams"......"Seventh Son"....The Prophecy ...Only The Good Die Young............The Clair Voyant....
I never liked "The Evil That Men Do"...it drives me nuts and bugs me....Can I Play With Madness I never really cared for but
it doesn't bug me like The Evil That Men Do bugs me. And yeah...I've read on this website a while ago now, there was a member

Motorhead is an amazing band dont get me wrong, but Maiden has a special place in my heart! lol |

"Somewhere In Time" And "Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son" are "better than anything Motorhead has ever done" ? LOL!
Well,....this just goes to show all of our differences.Even though I respect your opinion....that baffles my brain to hear that statement.
But hey....there are fans out there who claim "Turbo" as Judas Priest's best album of all time. I fit your statement about Motorhead right
along side of "Turbo" being Judas Priest's best album! HA HA HA!! LOL!
