OMFG!!! Bon Jovi (hold on Ron!), J. Geils Band and LL Cool Jay?? Are you fucking kidding me??? What a joke these people are that nominate artists. It's a popularity contest and that's all it is. Has nothing to do with what you have done for the music industry or how talented you actually are! Ah..thanks! I was waiting for the answer to that one. I don't recall "babies," though. It strikes true about the drunks and fools.
Just looked up the new laws in B.C. as well. Of course, we don't hear a thing about such things here. Harsh law, indeed, for impared driving. Still, I only think it is more of a financial pain than anything else. In Kentucky, a .08 is automatic jail time from 4-30 days + fines and fees. This goes even higher in certain areas. That is in addition to impound and loss of license for a min of 30 days.
I really think that a lot of this $ would be better spent on a taxi system here in rural America. There is no such thing as public transportation of any kind. No busses. Not even sidewalks. Houses are too far apart to walk / ride a bike anyway. Probably explains why there is absolutely nothing (except Walmart) open past 8pm most nights. Wish it were so simple, amigo. When they recently went "smart," they put in some scripting that was your undoing.
I "fixed" it by just hitting the link and changing my home location to Toronto on the widget page. Took all but a second and put in another vote. I think the system is flawed, though. That count isn't budging and I have used different computers pulling different #s. No matter as I think the turnout at the last Toronto show would be a more forceful reason for Priest to return....better than any "Demand it" anyway.

Maybe if the queen has moved away from the house to the box, when colder weather sets in and the box is removed from being so close to the house, they will all naturally go to the box? [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by guidogodoy from Sunday, September 05, 2010 2:59:04 PM)

Truthfully, it just looks like they have expanded their domain. Why would they leave the wall for a colder box through the winter months? I hope it works out well for you, and we don't know something he does. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by guidogodoy from Sunday, September 05, 2010 2:59:04 PM)

I picked up "Scream" by Ozzy Osbourne the other day and I regret paying $12 for that crap. I think that was the final nail in his solo career's coffin. What a cash grab and a half that was.
Though I did also get Disturbed's "Asylum", which I think is quite good, and Immortal's "All Shall Fall", also very good. So two outta three new albums good, I can live with that. I'll just sell "Scream" at Bookman's along with other CD's I don't listen to anymore this weekend.

The band has 19 studio albums,I would recommend getting 1982's "Iron Fist" then as popular as it is its still a classic 1981 "Ace Of Spades" then I would get 1988's "Rock And Roll" .....
Then 1979 Bomber,1978 "Overkill" and then the debut album 1977's "Motorhead". That way you would have the band's first 5 studio albums along with the band's last 3 studio albums you already have and then I would recommend the 1990 album "1916" then 1993's "Bastards"...thats where I would start,Motorheads albums are pretty consistant.
Motorhead's 20th studio album to be released later this year or early 2011 is titled "The World Is Yours". 20 studio albums...."WOW".

Now that the black and yellow menace has moved on, I can breathe easy. Whew.

Excellent News! Glad you didn't get stung.
I had yellow jackets build a next in my bathroom fan vent and didn't relize it until one day when I steped out of the shower there were about six bees in the bathroom with me! I'm terified of bees, since when they sting me I swell up like a balloon! I made my nephew come over and spray the bees in the bathroom, and then I got the long range spray and sprayed the vent from the outside. You couldn't have paid me enough to crawl up on the roof to throw anything at them. lol [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Vaillant 3.0 from Monday, July 26, 2010 9:35:52 PM)

Vail, if they are yellow and black, you don't have wasps. YOU have yellow jackets which can be agressive and mean on the sting side. Buy some heavy duty spray before they pay you back!! My humble suggestion. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Vaillant 3.0 from Sunday, July 25, 2010 12:58:02 PM)

Actually, I heard about this one town in Nevada that plays Hard Rock music on full blast to scare locusts away. You never know. Maybe it will work on that rat, too.

As for the chalk...here ya go! Be careful, though. According to the EPA, it's illegal to use and not exactly safe. But if you really want them, just find a bargain store owned by Chinese people...or buy them online.
That's what I did with the glue traps in Flora's room, but I can't put traps out in the kitchen because Lucy would be in danger from them too. This makes killing the big fat menace a little more difficult. I would like to know what that miracle chalk was though.

So, Kudos for her being brave in the face of advercity but she was truely scared. Poor kid.

Actually, I heard about this one town in Nevada that plays Hard Rock music on full blast to scare locusts away. You never know. Maybe it will work on that rat, too.

That's what I did with the glue traps in Flora's room, but I can't put traps out in the kitchen because Lucy would be in danger from them too. This makes killing the big fat menace a little more difficult. I would like to know what that miracle chalk was though.

Just in case I bought an old fashioned heavy broom so I don't have to worry about swinging it full force if I happen to stumble upon it on it's little trips to the kitchen, which it may as well give up on since I don't have a scrape for it to eat! Bastard Rat! I can't wait til he's dead so I can disinfect the entire house! Edited at: Friday, July 23, 2010 6:09:43 PM

That's what I did with the glue traps in Flora's room, but I can't put traps out in the kitchen because Lucy would be in danger from them too. This makes killing the big fat menace a little more difficult. I would like to know what that miracle chalk was though. It came in a long box and, like I just mentioned, it had Chinese lettering and a picture of a roach on it. We found it in a 99 cents store. I'll try to find info on it, though. For the rats, we also placed glue traps around the microwave and the stove (where there would most likely be crumbs) and added some pieces of actual food with rat poison placed inside of it. Good luck.

Find out what it was, just in case all my efforts fail. I won't even go in that room tonight because that thing is big and nasty.

Yikes! My house was full of them (we even had a rat or two) until my mom used this special chalk and used it on cabinets, some boxes, etc. Haven't seen one ever since. It had Chinese lettering, so who knows what's in that stuff.

I know all about roaches. The City of Richmond, VA is full of them in the old parts. No matter how much my roomie and I bombed the place with chemicals they still came. I you could have seen the garbage cans for our apartment you would puke. The roaches were so prevalent, that our way of throwning out the trash was to have one of us go down to the trash cans with a broom, open it, and then stand back while the other threw the trash from the second floor into the bin. The bin was completely covered in roaches and you really didn't want to touch them. Gross, gives me chills to this day to think about how many were around.

Heh. I remember I was barely waking up one morning (still in bed), and I decided to turn myself over to the other side. Once I did, I saw something walk on the edge of the matress. After narrowing my eyes to focus on that object (didn't have glasses on), lo and behold, it was a roach. A big one, right next to me. That certainly woke me up. Yeech.

Oh god, that chills me to the bones to think that thing could sneak up on me, and be near me! The revulsion is too much to take! I like pet rats, of other peoples, would never own one myself, but this thing is evil! I want it dead!

Pissing me off, or scaring the hell out of me?? Two days ago a rat moved into my daughter's bed room. I've brought every rat trapping object to our defense and yet still, the big bastard is not dead yet. Got glue traps today to add to the mayhem, and loaded the foundation with poison. I hope it dies or gets caught soon. It's big, it's loud, and it hisses at times, strangely enough, it makes a noise like a dog shaking off water on occasion. I hate this demon.
