Ya know, except for Hampton, when the crowd surged. I never went to a show that had that problem. Up front on all of them, and that is the only incidence.
I suppose the US decided just one incidence like what happened at the Who concert, was too many. That is when they started to phase out General admission.
I feel lucky I had that seating for as long as I did. Sigh! I REALLY miss it.

Ah Jimmy, I remember those days well! General admission on the floor and you took up your spot and kept it on your merit!
You have NO idea how much I miss those days! It's almost Monty Phythonish. Let's not argue about who got trotted over or who killed who! It was incidents like that to get us seated concerts. I hate them. The best concert night of my life was when a baricade caved at Hampton Roads, VA and I got to spend the entire night with my elbows on the stage! At KK's feet.

Have you checked to see that tickets are already on sale by ticket brokers for up to 5X the face value of the ticket to shows that AREN'T EVEN ON SALE YET???? THAT is utter bullshit!! I know that some of the "ticket resellers" are companies owned by ticketbastard, or at least this is the case in canada. that might explain the first 10 rows thing. I have also seen concerts were the first 10 rows were held for media and radio station givaways. so they were actualy mostly empty at that venue.

Well, this puts a road-block into my plans to going to see this tour (1st leg), unless my girl and I just go back down to Texas to see 'em... But money sucks lately (even working 2 jobs like I do) and we wouldn't be able to go to Chicago now cos management isn't all for the fans... Only 21+? Fuck shows like that, include EVERYONE you can to come see the Priest, esp. on this tour! What / Who the hell does management think they are, God? Screw that. MOTLEY concerts are more 'extreme' than a Priest concert, and they let everyone come. This shit-ass Management deal they have is bullshit, esp. for people like me who wants to see them here in Minnesota, just so I can save some f*ckin' money... Not only that, but on the 'Retribution' tour, my dad and I scored 5th row here in MN and 2nd in Moline, IL 5 minutes into tix going on sale, maximum... From the tech point of view, the scalpers couldn't have had a line of machines all hitting Ticketmaster servers at the same time. The "type in the word YOU cannot read" would have prevented it. It stops humans, it sure as hell would have stopped machines.

They should have done something to protect the fans from the vultures. Rob did say at the Cali interview, that price was a management decision, which seemed rather detached. Maybe they should have taken a bit more intrest in how tickets got sold to ensure their fans would have a chance to be there and up front supporting them.
It all comes down to management in the end.

The management should have done something through this site to ensure that this did not happen. It appears to be happening at every venue. They should have gone through Live Nation and done meet and greets, if they truly wanted to interact with their fans like they say they want to do. Scalpers can't buy those tickets up because you have to have picture ID and your name is on a list. Plenty of things they SHOULD have done to make this last tour something incredible for the band as well as the fans that have supported them for MANY MANY YEARS!!!

Tipton/Faulkner....2 axe attack not 3!!! That would be totally lame Hellrider because then they are just copying Iron Maiden with thier "3 axe attack". It would make Priest look foolishly imitating Maiden and it would give Maiden that much more credit in the media,bad idea but I know that your heart is in the right place with this subject.

If KK Downing happened to return the three guitar attack woud be killer man, I agree they should give Faulkner a chance. Saying it's a copy of Maiden and lame is a bit far fetched.
