My longest road trips were to Detroit(twice) and Sparta Ky.(once)
Both locales about 5 1/2 hrs. away. I only have to drive 25 minutes to Mayhem.

I got my Mayhem tickets in the mail today. I bought early so I got limited edition 3D tickets.

We just bought a red 2000 Honda Accord 2 door coupe V6 for 5 grand with only 110,000 miles on it!! I'm happy!! This car is so taken care of its almost brand new,I can run this sucker up past 300,000 miles the next 10 years and it will still be plush!! That makes me happy!!

I was reading Metal Meltdown's post in Metal Blah Blah Blah this afternoon, about how tickets for the Toronto show were already on sale even though there was no official posting of the date yet on JP.com. I was so pissed because previously (since the tour was announced) I had been checking various websites just in case this type of thing happened, but hadn't been checking lately. I figured I was pretty much screwed out of any good tickets, and the prices for really good seats (where Rob can see me clearly mouthing "I LOVE YOU FOREVER METAL GOD" LOL) were really high, for me, anyway. So I was pretty much cussing and crying in my soup that my one and only chance to ever see Priest was now most likely NOT going to happen. So my husband (who, incidentally, is not a huge metal fan like myself) gets home from work, I'm pissed and hollering and telling him all this, he turns around and says, "Surprise!!!! - Merry Early Christmas - We got tickets!!!!!" I am not ashamed to admit I actually cried! Apparently he put out the word to any and everyone he knew that "my wife absolutely HAS TO SEE THIS CONCERT" and was being really vigilant about any info coming his way about early ticket sales, and got lucky with TOTALLY AWESOME seats. So many nights he'd come home when I was complaining that there was still no Toronto date, and now this!!!!!! I'M SO FREAKIN HAPPY I COULD BURST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah Becks it could of been so much worse that I'm so greatful for what I still have by all means. Sure its a set back,Victoria will have some court dates and ect...but as I said I'm greatful for what I have now thats for sure. I'll be looking into the Honda our friend is selling us and that will do untill we eventually get another car. Victoria's Toyota crapped out 3 years ago but it also had like 350,000 miles on it so she got her money's worth out of it ha! Yeah this fuckin sucks man but I'm glad it wasn't worse. Its only going to get better from here.

The bad news is Victoria got into a car accident tonight,the good news is that she is ok!! (SIGH). She has a few brused ribs but she'll be ok. My honda is totaled(sigh) but it doesn't matter to me because alls that matters is that she is ok. Just heard the other 6 tracks off the new Saxon album "Call To Arms" coming out in June as I already heard 4 of them and with 10 songs total I like every song on the album! Thier last album Into The Labyrinth had 13 tracks and I instantly disliked 2 of them so I'm totaly stoked about this new album,songs don't grow on me either I like em' or I don't and now hearing all 10 songs I can't belive I like them all.

This is the 3rd Saxon album I like all the way through with 2004 Lionheart and 2007 The Inner Sanctum being the other two. I can't fathom any album beating Call To Arms in 2011,a big thank you to Saxon for not fucking around,they give the fans what they want and have for the last 16 years and 8 straight quality studio albums..... HELL YEAH!!
