Good morning my Metal bros and sisters
Here I am up bright and early beginning a 4 day holiday weekend (Memorial Day on Monday here in the States). Hopefully gonna look at a few houses today, the mighty Blackhawks faceoff against the Flyers on Saturday, the Indy 500 on Sunday and hopefully a peaceful recovery on Monday.

Yep, I hate to say this and I swore I never would but here goes (lol) Back in my day, we had discipline. You wouldn't dare speak to a teacher, parent or adult the way some of these ungrateful brats do. I'm still pretty strict on the discipline/respect thing. My children know how far to push and what consequences happen when they go too far. And I don't have to beat it into them. Discipline takes work from both sides and these days some parents just don't give a damn. Shouldn't be breeding because that is just what they are doing. Pumping out kids and then expecting teachers to deal with them but don't you dare discipline my little so and so. Bull shit. We need discipline and responsibility back.
OMG! I feel so old and cranky after spewing that out lol.

I love seeing how their imaginations develop. This parenting thing has been a very nice journey for me and I'm keen to see what type of adults they will turn into one day.
They love music, are funny as can be and are pretty much a joy in my life.

I've got a friend who teaches teens and she started off lovingh her job. She went from junior school upwards and she hates the teens. She says they've become disrespectful, sexually harras her and can get intimidating. She says she'd teach little ones anyday.

While I pay a small fortune each month for satellite, see if I can find a channel to offer the games (or even ANNOUNCE the winners) without paying extra. Nope, neither. I live outside the city limits (meaning across the street). No natural gas, no city water (actually thankful for that...not as expensive with a well), have to pay the trash collectors directly. I live about two minutes from the firehouse but still have to pay a "rural" fee to have them come out to try to put out a fire. Not that they could ever do so. Can't make it up my drive and no hydrant.

They are told about certain health issues and figure they just won't go back to that doctor! ....?????!?!?!!??!? *YEEEESH*

strangely enough. I was trying to figure out how old he would be if he's
still alive. He would be 86. Dealing with this is something time can't heal.
You deal with it regularly because you're always wondering. Be glad you
had a father in your life. Take care man.

Ron, I am so sorry to hear that your Dad passed. He was blessed with a great son who loved him dearly and I'm sure you being there for him in his last moments must have made him feel safe and secure enough to let go. No words can ease your pain but know that your family here grieve with you and are here for you.
