Wonderful pics Vail! Wow, I don't know much about Mexico, but it certainly isn't all deserts and cacti like it's sometimes protrayed.

Even better....I got my riding mower stuck on a slippery slope landing it in the ravine that runs between my house and the neighbor. I managed to push it out. Were it to fall into a canyon, it would have been taken a helicopter to have removed the wreck.

Glad you liked them, Ronny! Yeah, the weather was incredible!! The weather in Zacatecas was almost like the weather in CA!! Guadalajara was much hotter, but still better than summer temps.

Ho! Come to MY house!

A ravine is small. Typically overflows into a flood-plain. A canyon is BIG!! Like in her picture. GRAND CANYON, for example?

Wasn't called a Grand Ravine, after all....

Beautiful pics Vail, looks like you had wonderful weather as well!!     Especially liked the last one with the ravine (though I can't figure the difference between a ravine and a canyon  ), very nice!!

Here's a great soda that I had while in Guadalajara. Sagría Casera. Mmmmmm.

[Vaillant 3.0] Sunday, March 28, 2010 6:22:03 PM
Tomato juice is nasty. Until I find my happy alcoholic drink, I'll stick with sodas.

Here's such a bottle. Manzana Lift. Best apple soda ever!! Oh! And best restaurant in the capital of Zacatecas. Gorditas Doña Julia.
