A couple of quick observations IMO: on the tour setlist so far that I have been able to hear live via torrents. Once again IMO:
1) Metal Gods does not have the power as it had on the last tour, period.
2) They should have dumped Rock Hard Ride Free & kept Eat Me Alive. EMA absolutely killed on the last tour, RHRF is way past its prime.
3) The best songs from the British Steel Set are easily: Rapid Fire, Steeler & Old To be Wise.
4) The setlist is too short. They should have added at least 2 additional songs. Especially with the traditional BTL, LAM & YGATC already there....
5) Great to hear the electric version of Diamonds & Rust again! No sleepy ballads on setlist; I am glad they gave Painkiller a rest.
6) Finally, no songs from Stained Class/HBFL or POE leaves a huge void...

I sure hope It is not so bad in Dallas in the pit. That's why I am thinkink of keeping the extra tickets. I sold the one pair and kept the other two.

my first tour I had 19th row seats and when I got there someone was in them, with the same tix as us. we sent them to security, and they never came back.

I had a blast! I suprise I found you. I though there would be more people there. After the show about 50 people were all meeting up at a local resturant I know. I was trying to find ya!
I didn't stay too much longer though...but I had a blast.
Yea you can post the pic, you let me know the same! I have one of you too! I have about 43 picutres. My stupid camera died when Halford came out on the Harley dammit. However.. I still got some good shots!

I didn't think the crowd was that bad... but the people who did have front row seats didn't even get a chance to sit in the seats. Then again.. I was rockin.. The pit doesn't bother me.. Unless its like a DRI show.. but JP was fine. I'm good Rebel I bought the necklace the pink girlie shirt and t-shirt, thank you so much for asking YOU ROCK! ... My tank top is already peeling though! I'm still upset about that.
I have to say it was awesome having having a 4 day weekend! It sucks being back at the grind!

Wow - the band's starting three days of non-stop shows starting in Massachussetts tonight, going to NY tomorrow, and then to Toronto on Thursday. Hope to hear some more awesome reports as these performances happen.

Ya know, any preshrunk T's I get that still feel thin, may not shrink if I washed them but I have a paranoia they will and always line dry them. Especially Flora's T's as I hate the long winded complaint I get if the shirt shirks an inch! HA!!

Yes, the tank has pink metallic lettering. It is pretty good quality I think (won't know 'til I wash it). It is pre-shrunk so that is cool too. They were kind of pricey but I figured, what the hell!! No, our festival was similar to MG's in Minnesota, festival stages so no back stage. We did not have a VIP section, just all first come first serve, we got there early and everyone around us was fairly cool except for your occasional drunk. We bumped into KK, Ian and Scott at the hotel. Luck of the draw.

Yes KK left us the tickets,, but I dont know how many people will spend the extra money to pay for those sort of tickets, if the security at these outdoor venues is not going to atleast help people comply with it.. The band will loose money, and fans wont want to go,, Esp with the way the economy is ,,,
I loved it though,,, I was right in there as they call the pit... was hard to get pics alot of the times,, people bumping into you, ect... I will post more soon.. I have company here at the house until Wed.. nite.. then I can get all caught up.

What the heck was security even there for then?? Just to make sure people didn't get killed? I don't understand.... I thought it was their JOB to make sure people didn't take your seats.
