WE'LL THE ISLANDERS LOST, BUT IT WAS A VERY EXCITING GAME. A FRIEND OF MINE CANE UP WITH HIS COMPANY TICKETS 12 ROWS BEHIND THE NET. IT'S AWSOME TO BE AT THE GARDEN DURING AN ISLANDERS RANGERS GAME.
THE YOUNG KIDS ARE REALLY FUN TO WATCH. MAYBE IN A YEAR OR SO WE CAN CONTEND. WE ARE COMPETITIVE MOST NIGHTS. |

...oh, how I enjoy researching things...yes, it is now part of the local programming...they televise on a network package...most games are on the local sports cable network (Comcast)...the rest are split between WGN (9) and WCIU (26) which are local networks...we will get all Blackhawk games and whatever the national telecasts show during the playoffs...I don't know if the NHL Network or VS will air any games...but I'm not gonna 'pay' for any games...

Hey Scorpion01, yes Im thrilled that our Danish guys are doing well in NHL, not only Frans Nielsen with Islanders, but also Mikkel Bødker with Phoenix Coyotes, Peter Regin with Ottawa Senators, Lars Eller with St. Louis Blues and Jannik Hansen with Vancouver Canucks :o)
The downside of their success is that we miss them on the national team now as we are are playing the qualification games for the Olympics. Still, I have to sy “you go guys” !!
The upside is offcourse that Danish Tv finally show a little hockey when the Danes scores or does well :o)
And youre right Wolfman, we're in a terrible group at the World Cup, but that’s what happens when you are at the bottom of the ranking … As long as we can stay in the A-Group I think we should count ourselves lucky, especially if we have to do it without the NHL players ... We'll see if they will get some time off :o) A

UNFORTUNATELY IT BEAT THE ISLANDERS, BUT DID ANYONE SEE THE GOAL BY RICHARD ZEDNICK LAST NIGHT? VERY PRETTY.
PERFECT. ISLANDERS PLAYED TOUGH. THE KIDS LOOKED GREAT AGAIN. MORE GOOD EXPERIENCE. GOT TO SEE A BEAUTIFUL GOAL TO BEAT US. GIVE THE OTHER TEAM CREDIT. AND WE GOT NO POINTS OUT OF IT. ONE STEP CLOSER TO MAYBE GERTTING THE # 1 PICK.
