yeah, the idea that the league min salary would drop to half a mill was a bit much. the theory is out there that lou wanted to get the front loading stoped, he said that these contracts should not exist before the arbitration. I didnt hear about dipietro, but pronger, hossa and savard were
the devils should have front loaded the contract a little more , and it wasnt just us wasnt dipietros contract looked at also?

well.... there may be hope for the oil slicks in a few years. flames need to dump all the older guys, tank a year, and get a whack of draft picks. thank god I am a devils fan.
speaking of your canucks, how does the league aprove the lulongo contract, then review it a year later after an even more obvious atempt to evade the cap gets rejected? [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by acolyte55 from Friday, August 13, 2010 12:53:33 AM)

Yeah I remember it very well,"Sipe" should of never passed the freakin ball, only to have it picked off in the end zone. Yeah and that led to 3 AFC championship loses all to the Denver Broncos including the famous "Fumble" fromt Ernest Byner.Only 4 teams in the entire NFL who have not stepped foot into a Super Bowl, the fairly new Jacksonville Jaguars who entered the league in 1995 and the Houston Texans who just recently joined. The other 2 teams are sadly the Detroit Lions and the Cleveland Browns, the Lions and Browns have been in the league for freaking years!!! All the way back to the 40's or around there ect...and since the merger of the AFC and NFC in 1968 when Super bowl 1 was presented the Browns and Lions still haven't made it in. That is "sad".
Well like i said, the series between Cleveland and Boston isn't over yet,but I just can't see Cleveland beating boston 2 straight games in a row so ....well....yeah the series is over lol!!!! Labron is "overrated" big time man, sure he is good but great players make great plays in big games and Labron isn't a big game play maker.Although Peyton Manning did win a Super Bowl to the lowly Chicago Bears who were pathertic,he is not a big game play maker either as I think Peyton is overrated big time. I don't think Manning will ever step foot in another Super bowl again. Labron and the Cavs shouldn't of lost by 32 man, maybe by 2 or 3 but by 32? In the biggest game 5 so far of the season? Sad.
It's Killing me. Another year and another Cleveland team is going down in flames. I tell ya I've been on the losing end since RED RIGHT 88, Brian Sipe. I truly believe Cleveland is CURSED !!!!

Yeah Budred and METALMANJP,it gets old hearing "Labron this" and "Labron that" when he hasn't won a championship, they(the media) make this guy out to be better than Michael Jordan who is obviously the best player ever to play the game and nobody will ever surpass him,but they still keep pumping this Labron James shit,I like Cleveland and Labron is good don't get me wrong but its a fuckin joke man,if they would of lost by 2 thats no big deal,he still would of came up short like he always does but come on man .....lost by "32" points at home in the biggest game yet of the season when you really needed it the most?
The fans paid good money to see this game and you dump it by 32 at home? LOL! The upside to this is that I like the Celtics!! But I belive that there is no way that the Boston Celtics can beat the Orlando Magic in a 7 game series,no way and what makes this shitty is that I fuckin HATE the Orlando Magic and Dwight Howard, but they are "good". Lakers & Magic in the NBA Finals with the Lakers winning 4 games to 2,thats my predictions.
Peyton Manning is my favorite QB because he has been since he came out of Tennesee, but even I am sickened by the media portraying him as the best QB in football,or the best QB ever to play. That is a joke as well,in my opinion like him or hate him Tom Brady is the best QB in football today,Joe Montana is the best QB to ever play the game, just like Jordan in basketball. It just gets old hearing the media pump these guys out to be unbeatable. The series isn't over yet, game 6 is at Boston but my money is on Boston, they will win by 2 or 3 points to close out the series sending "Labron" home for the season. I belive that the MVP award shouldn't be given out untill the NBA finals and the MVP of the NFL shouldn't be given till the Superbowl. Are you a Dodgers fan? I am. I've only seen them about a dozen times over the years but I live near Pittsburgh.
My most memorable game was a memorial day game back in the nineties. Tim Belcher was pitching a one hitter.
The Dodgers were winning 5 to 1. I caught a foul ball hit by Jose Lind(Pirates). I was drinking and being a loudmouth.
Go Dodgers! I was on top of the world, what could go wrong. The Pirates scored 5 runs in the bottom of the ninth
to win the game 6 to 5. One of their greatest comebacks. I'm still freakin' p*ssed about that . AAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!! [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Deep Freeze from Tuesday, February 23, 2010 7:06:19 AM)

LOL yeah the blackcaps are terrible, they need an injection of young enthusiastic players who actually have some sense of pride in representing their country, rather than following the dollar to India. They can get bloody pay hikes when they start winning for fucks sake, no point giving top dollar to guys who play like shit and don't even seem interested in getting better. I don't even watch much tv, don't have time, but I still pay for Sky in case there is something on I want to watch.
Would you rather play tennis with or without your undies riding up your crack? I don't play tennis but I'd imagine it would be easier without. Imagine trying to concentrate on a 160km an hour serve with your undies riding up your crack and being too embarrassed to pull them out. You'd be psyched out to the max.

I suppose it's better value in the winter if you like rugby and league, plus the world cup this year too. Not really worth Paying the fees to watch the fucking Blackcaps, what a bunch of losers. Hate seeing them holding NZC for ransom with threats to go to the Indian Premier League if the don't get pay hikes etc. Especially pricks like McCullum and Oram. Dan Vetorri is the only one with any guts in the whole team. Ridiculous that a guy batting at 8 has scored more runs for the country than anyone else in the last 5 years. Would you rather play tennis with or without your undies riding up your crack? I don't play tennis but I'd imagine it would be easier without. Not on regular tv but Sky TV has all the American sports on live. Football, Basketball, Ice Hockey, Baseball etc. It's on at lunch time though for the most part so most people are at work. But it's still cool that we can get it. I'd follow your sports more but I'm hardly ever home at that time.
Hard to say what Rafa should do. It's not a good look, maybe if talked to some of the other players they might have some tips for him. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by guidogodoy from Tuesday, January 26, 2010 3:23:25 AM)

We don't have the sports channels so our house misses out lol. Other than nightly sports news updates. I'm just glad Lleyton Hewitt got smashed by Federer - can't stand Hewitt, obnoxious twerp lol.

Yeah, tennis. Come on. Where are the Aussies? LOL! It is a Grand Slam! More time on the telly than hockey, that is for sure.

Speaking of which, Nadal (Mallorca isle of Spain) and Andy Murray (Scot) is about to start here....3am!

HAAAAA!!!!!! I'd be more ashamed of Nadal who is always pulling his undies out of his crack!
While I know ol' Hewitt isn't from your country (lucky), it is really odd that you can't get the matches there. We have it on regular channels here. Just have to stay up until 5am to see it live! [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Becks from Monday, January 25, 2010 10:57:42 PM)

LOL good thing Lleyton Hewitt isn't from the same country as me or I'd be embarassed, he is a major tool. His constant yelling of 'COME ON!!!' every time he scores a point drives me insane.
We don't see it live cos we haven't subscribed to the available sports channels ah well lol.
