What gets me is the amount of animal abuse around here. They'd think nothing of kicking or even shooting a dog yet are at every Wed bible study class and regular church goers. My God-fearing neighbor even told me once that, while an animal lover, that she was going to have to have her husband shoot a stray that we were feeding just for safety's sake. Only danger of that damn dog would be to LICK you to death! BASTARD!

I was baptized catholic but my parents gave me the choice of going to church or not. I went for a while but i didn't agree with alot of what they said. The last church i went too all the Priest ever did was condemn homosexuality.. that does not wash with me, I have alot of gay friends and it would be hypocritical of me to sit there and believe that it is wrong. I will never go back to organised religion.
They don't preach love and tolerance, they encourage exclusion and hatred.... not what it's supposed to be about.

Stoplights...........I have seen several come down over the years and be replaced with stop signs because the town either could not afford to replace it, or just decided these good God fearing people could drive Ok.
