Neah, your right the second time around Ron....it is THE BEST heavy metal live albums of all time....I would go as far as saying that it is the best live album of any genre. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by ronhartsell from Tuesday, July 21, 2009 5:33:22 PM)

Well, your right...they may be classified as "power metal"..but they play so,so close to heavy metal I think we can get away with calling them heavy metal.
Running Wild are the same way...they are considered "Power Metal" but they play so close to Judas Priest,Saxon and Iron Maiden's style and could still
be considered "heavy metal"....while a band like say "Gamma Ray" plays Power metal and really dosn't sound "heavy metal" at all.
And I agree with Tim Owens being better in another band than Priest.
ok...thanks for clarifying it...it's just that I always considered it more like a power metal band than a heavy one...
also that's the only way I would like Tim Owens on the vocals...never trying to replace the METAL GOD! (Quoting Message by J.D. DIAMOND from Tuesday, July 21, 2009 3:39:59 PM)

Actually paorcamp....Iced Earth "IS" heavy metal. I only care for the band's first 2 studio albums.."Iced Earth" and "Night Of The Stormrider".
But make no mistake.....that album and the entire Iced Earth's discography is "heavy metal".

I really love this one...it may not be a classic...it may not be heavy metal...but I love it!!

This is a very strong debut by Queensryche. It's also the only Queensryche release that I really like. They went downhill after this.

Original video of 1970 "Black Sabbath" title track.....this is the first band, song and album that started what would be "heavy metal".
Now this album and band image was the black metal of 1970! [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by british.steel from Sunday, July 19, 2009 6:20:18 PM)
