My, my, my..... Jealousy is such an UGLY thing isn't it Spa? I'm glad you took the high road on this my friend instead of resorting to the nasty name calling - it's just not worth it. Does this mean I can go back to Metal Goddess instead of HRMG? Better not even though it was a nickname that I was GIVEN over 25 years ago and rightfully EARNED since I can sing... I didn't give it to myself and that's why I refused to give it up

Yes, you are who you roll with - I couldn't agree more with you there DF! Funny, people keep talking about these "cliques" we have here but I've not seen that at all. I was welcomed with open arms when I joined back in April. And I would just like to say a BIG THANK YOU to all of you! I think we all hang out with the people that we feel a connection with - that is life whether it's in real life or in cyberspace. Those of us here for the same reasons recognize that in others and we bond. I appologize if I've offended anyone - it certainly was never my intention to do so. But I would really appreciate not being told off by people as if ALL of us have done something wrong! To those that choose to leave, I wish you the best. I'm here to honor the GREATEST HEAVY METAL BAND IN THE WORLD!

Ahh another day in the neighborhood. Though I keep seeing some sort of disagreement here and there but I don't comment because it doesn't involve me. But I will say that everyone needs to make some understanding and to try and be able to be in harmony without such disagreements. But I am a roamer who doesn't say much but simply just sees how everyone is doing. I will say if something exciting comes along or get into some social venues but I am not much of a social guy really. Like I say; I roam about.

I know, HB, I know. I still want to believe that we can all get along and care about one another. That we can have fun and laugh and do all the things we used to do. Just as Michael has mentioned several times, I long for those days. I just don't understand where all this hostility comes from and why we unleash it on our friends? Is it that some have a life that is so incredibly miserable that the only way they can feel better is to degrade others? I am no Dr. Phil but I cannot see any other excuse.
Friendship still means something to me. It always will. I cherish the friendships I have here and I work to keep them solid. As I have said before, if someone wants to leave, go ahead. The majority of those that have done so are not all that missed anyway. If they are in a "better" place, that's great. As long as they are happy.

Thank you, Spa!!! As a matter of fact, it is already at number ONE over on the AP Chart!!! Didn't take long, did it?? HA!!!!! Personally, I have to agree with Guido in that it is my favorite. I just love the chorus. It came to me all at once as I was writing the melody. I was thinking about that feeling of supreme triumph. Of "rising" from the depths of defeat when all seems lost..That kind of thing. It just sort of spilled out from there!! Here is the chorus for your enjoyment;

We just posted our latest completed song. It is called "I Rise". I wrote it as a sort of self-proclaimed, rising above adversity type theme. Defeating the odds and rising above it all.
