So... Ross Brauns team wins first two places, Hamilton comes in fourth... Thats a good kick in the teeth to my predictions.
Wish I could have watched the race. Damn Aussies and their timezones... |

IDK... Barichello has been in F1 for... what? 15 years? Maybe even more than that. Same with Fisichella, and Trulli is a veteran too. IDK, maybe one of them gets lucky and finaly wins, or at least comes close to winning the World Cup, but I dont think that will be so. I think that this year will be much like the last one. Hamilton, Alonso, Raikonnen, maybe Massa... They will be the main pretenders. Well, we will see, in any case. ... Or we may see another epic battle, like the one between Senna and Prost! I dont want to be mean or anything, but Formula 1 has certainly become very interesting since Schumacher retired. Its actually interesting now. Ross Braun may be a good surprise tho. He really is a genius, and Im looking forward to see how his team will do. | | TIMBONI wrote: | | So . . . . . any thoughts for the new year ? Well, yeah, true enough, but there was that thing in Belgium, when Hamilton lost a victory because of FIA, and in my opinion that wasnt right. Anyway, it was another great season, and I just love it that for the first time since Vilineuve my favourite won the championship :). I do find it ironic that Ferrari wins the Constructor's Championship and from my point of view they are the ones that cost Massa the Driver's Championship. Between engine reliability ( or lack of ) and that stupid lighted release system for pit stops I can come up with at least 3 potential victories lost that had nothing to do with Massa himself. |

Fernando Alonso has vowed to help Felipe Massa beat his former McLaren team-mate Lewis Hamilton to this year's World title.
Last season Alonso, then driving for McLaren, was the one involved in a title battle with Hamilton, which led to a great deal of rivalry and animosity within the team and Alonso's subsequent departure after just one year.
This year, though, it's Massa whose locked in the title race with Hamilton, with Alonso vowing to do all he can to help the Ferrari driver beat his former team-mate.
"Yes, no doubt, if I can help, I will help Massa," Alonso told AS newspaper.
