I told you that I waved to you at the Silverdome. How come you didn't see me?! LOL! I was sitting with these guys (pic is from Capitol Villa Apts at Hagadorn and Grand River, BTW):
It was a GREAT show and well worth it! We had a blast and they sounded great! Last time I saw them was back in '88 for the Monsters of Rock show at the Silverdome - I know you were there too Guido. They were great then and they were great this summer.

CLASSIC Scorpions! I don't think they had a more solid album than "Love at First Sting." Sure, borderline R&R but I had forgotten just how many damn good tunes were on it.
Anyone see their "goodbye" tour? Worth it? While I'd like to go out to give them their props, I would hate that they get into their long ballads that seemed to dominate most of their later works.

I really don't know! It depends on my mood, but as everyone, I have some albums which represent something special, and one of this could be MARCHE OU CREVE, Trust

That's probably my favorite Sepultura's album, at least for me, is it finest moment, my choice of the day are two albums:
A classic Thrash Metal album, a malevolent canadian assault of fast and deathly speed metal:
And a seminal album of the metalpunk genre, an effective blend of aggressive punk and NWOBHM sound:
Well,I don't think this is a classic "heavy metal" album but it sure as hell is a classic death/thrash metal album, thats for sure.
I got this album in 1990 I think, just before Arise was released in 91' or so but hell yeah this is a great album.

I just recorded this from vinyl today. I haven't heard it since the
late 80's. I forgot how good this was. It could have been produced a little
better but it still sounds great. Definitely an early Metallica influence. Edited at: Sunday, May 02, 2010 5:19:58 PM

TANK - Shellshock -Filth Hounds Of Hades -1982 First song off the album
I've had this LP for quite a while now since 1998 I think, very old primitive NWOBHM from England, this album gets shit on but I like it and consider it a classic, fast Eddie Clarke of Motorhead produced this one and is forgetton about, even I haven't pulled this one out of the vault in a long time but this album I'm playing today.
