Name a band(or bands) who you don't believe is a metal band

AC/DC. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big AC/DC fan but it definitely isn't metal. Most peaple call their music Heavy Metal but I think it's just good Hard Rock or Rock 'n' Roll.

Aerosmith comes to mind.  It reminds me of an abortion of a TV show in Canada from one of the music stations.  They were counting down the top 10 metal lead singers.  They picked Steven Tyler number one and Rob wasn't even on the list! I almost went Elvis and shot out my TV screen. That is all.

In my opinion you have to look at the period in time. For example Def Leppard in the early eighties i would consider it metal but now in 2008 you can't put them in the same class as judas priest even though i still enjoy their music but judas priest i believe have gone the opposite way and got heavier with their sound.
