| It could be with motivation and stress. Generally I know recording such an intenese and complex album would put a lot of stress on one person, especially if they are a frontman of a band. Maybe the reason he doesn't do it now is because now they are enjoying themselves playing live shows once again, and their awaited project has been realised. |

Hopefully he doesn't smoke anymore but it's his prerrogative to continue being smoke free if he quit.
Passing the initial irritation from not having any nicotine in your system, I say it's rather easy to avoid relapsing. |

I would think that now that he doesn't do that anymore brings the result of his voice being tremendously powerful. He was on fire when I saw them in Toronto! |

I am far from judging him, I just read recently an interview in which he says that his voice is the most precious thing he owns and that he takes good care of it. Anyway, of course it's his choice I was just wondering whether he still smokes because all these pics are from several years ago and his voice now is pretty well and powerful..  |

yeah, i saw him with a stogie in cincinnati a few years ago when they were here.
years of being on the road coupled with the stogies he has smoked most likely messed with his voice, but it is his choice to do so, who are we to judge?
