I'd go back to 1954. Somehow try to change Branch Rickey drafting Roberto Clemente off the Brooklyn Dodgers roster.
Could you imagine Roberto Clemente playing his career in Brooklyn New York? In the same city as Willie Mays and Mickey Mantle.
Nothing against Pittsburbg, but it isn't the media capital of the word.
In New York Clememte would have gotten the recognition he truely deserves.
And maybe with him the Dodgers would have beaten the Yankees one or two more times in the world series and never moved to Los Angeles. After all, Clemente never played in a world series game that he did not get a hit. 14 in all!

Yes go back, Knowing what you know now. PLaying the axe at the level you are slinging it now.
Take me back. I would be very determined. Enhanced persepctive would be the advantage. Not like i would introduce digital early or anything. Just be a sleeper that is an exciter when needed.

| I don't think I'd like to mess with the past too much, but if I could go back knowing what I know now, I would totally go back and see more bands, appreciate them more, drink less at the shows so I can remember them more and pay more attention to the details of the shows. I would love to go back and see Judas Priest in their prime again. I just don't think I appreciated what I was seeing back then with all of their energy. Thank God for video's and cd's, that is all I can say. |
