All I can think of with "Desperado" is the Seinfeld episode where Elaine dates the guy who zones out every time he hears that song! Its hysterical. I tried to like these 2 songs but I just can't do it !!
I'm not a cowgirl so Desperado is out for me
And to me taking it to the limit should be a faster song--because if you're gonna take something to the limit you want to get there & get it over with

Hey Jaime
Now just a minute--I am a proud owner of Hinder, Creed & Nickelback ( please don't hate me !! )
I on the other hand have quite a cd collection--mostly heavy metal
But I do agree with you when the top so & so lists come out --those songs are hardly ever played--I have a radio station in PA where at the end of the year they have a top 100 that's played on New Year's Eve into New Years' Day--where you have to call /email the radio station & tell them your favorite songs---for 12 years & I'm not kidding the # 1 song was "Color My World "--I think Chicago did it --I may be wrong ---Who would've thought it ? !!--You would think they'd vote for a song of that year not 1 from the 70's [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by jimmyjames from Thursday, September 18, 2008 7:07:59 AM) | | jimmyjames wrote: | | Lips Of An Angel - Hinder.

Theses are three of the worst songs ever in my book, by three of the worst bands ever, manufactured middle of the road hard rock for people who don't listen to music, generally people who are into this sort of shit are the kind of people who buy a cd and only listen to the one song off it. They always have terrible cd collections. The way they get into it is by either driving around or sitting at their desk with some mindless commercial radio station playing in the background, not even aware that they are being brainwashed. We got one of these stations in NZ, its called THE ROCK and they play crap like this all day. Once a year they have a rock top 500 where listeners email in their votes for their favourite songs and then they play them all 500 down to 1, the top 20 is always the same, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Guns N Roses, AC/DC and Metallica. Obviously then, that is what the listeners really like, so why don't they play that all the time instead of these wankers? |
