modern cars are put together with no regard for repair later, much less customization. the first Magnum we had on fleet a bird hit the headlight. had to remove the bumper and fender to install new light. 5 hour job. The good news is the worst new cars are still way more reliable than the best from the 80's (or older). still, the old cars were easy to work on compared to now. supose thats good cause you had too.

I have to answer phones while I am filming Wastewater projects and I get two calls from two other departments in the county who didn't get files and another just 10 min ago about a file they need RIGHT NOW!!! The delivery driver is already downtown and I have been getting up and down from my station to check stuff on the computer to see if it was sent out or to make insane ASAP request for the past hour! Why is it always Thursday that kicks me in the rear each time at work?

The worst trip through town I had one day was following an ancient LPN who works in the same place I do. She sat at the green light forever, and I didn't want to beep because I knew she would know it was me! But she finally went through and I made it on the caution light! But then I wish I had not and gave her a head start through town. She drove so slow I wanted to put my bumper against her's and give her a push! I absolutely think once you reach 65 you should have to take a behind the wheel competancy test to ensure you can still drive! Going to slow and driving badly is the same as going to fast and drivng badly IMO!

At least they are turning. I can't count the amount of people I see on the interstate that drive with their turn signal on for a very long time. I mean, even in the new cars the signal still makes a little noise to let you know it's on and blinks on your dash! You know this person never looks at their dash, and likely nothing going on around them!
