Sort of like the one we in the states call "Bodies".

Welten in English means "Worlds"!! Just a lil' town in Bavaria called "Weiden"!! Here's the link, so you can take a look!!
I have something rather unique that is making me quite happy now. Since I really have no other place to say this, I will do so here...;
Most of you are aware of the tremendous success I had with a recent collaboration song over on AcidPlanet. The gentleman I worked with over there is a "heavy weight" on that site, apparently. Anyway, the song (Drive Home) was so well received and stayed at number ONE for SEVEN straight days, that I was contacted by TWO other bands to do similar projects!! I just finished writing and recording a song with a band that is in GERMANY!!!! (That's right, Michael!! HA!!) They are called "Wildering Sheep". They do more "Alternative/Progessive" Rock but they do have some heavier material.
Anyway, as is usually the case, I received a song file and was asked to write a melody and lyrics for it, which I did. I finished the recording yesterday and sent it off to the guy that is doing the production. The song is a bit of a departure for me, as it is not really straight forward "Rock". Has more of an Alternative feel to it. The guy that wrote it sent me an e-mail telling me about how he wrote the song after a break-up with a young lady on their way to an exhibit in a town in Germany called "Welten". Naturally, the song is called Welten and I wrote a sort of "break-up" tune for it.
When it is completed, I will let you all know. It is SO very exciting to work with other musicians, especially those from other countries! I am starting today on the second song. This is with another group based here in the States. It will be a much more "Rock and Roll" song with a heavier sound. All very cool and just SO much fun!!!

As for "demand", well that is really a matter of "putting myself out there", as it were. You'd be surprised how many bands are looking for vocalists. I met a guy last night that is a singer in an established band here in Vegas and he is just now getting into the internet music scene! He was VERY excited to ask me questions about it, as he had never tried it and was just starting to do some things with some online people. That amazes me. I mean, technology has made SO MUCH possible for musicians and yet, SO MANY know nothing of it!
I will admit that the feeling is remarkably gratifying, though. I mean, to be asked by so many great artists to be a part of their work is an honor I do not take lightly. I work very hard to deliver my end of the bargain, as it were. Each opportunity is another chance for me to create. I have so much music in my head that it actually goes on an on all the time! I hear it everywhere. Kind of like what you said before about finding music in everyday life. It s there for me.
You hit the nail on the head though, man. Tecchnology has really opened some doors for musicians. Its incredible. It really is.

I have something rather unique that is making me quite happy now. Since I really have no other place to say this, I will do so here...;
Most of you are aware of the tremendous success I had with a recent collaboration song over on AcidPlanet.

Well it's only broadcast in our area of NZ but the station manager keeps cd backups of every show so it's easy enough to rip off copies of the show on cd and post them over to you. Initially its going to be a two hour show but I'm looking at expanding it to three and having a classic album segment where an entire album is played from start to finish. I reckon that would be cool.

your station not available on the net? still awesome. I like the whole album idea. our local rock station used to do that at midnight. I got off work once and turned on screaming for vengance. now of course they are totaly lame.

At the beginning they are looking at broadcasting it 10pm to midnight on Sunday nights, That would be about 4am Sunday morning for you guys. The stations got all this other crap on it like cooking shows and classical music, perry como, jazz, gardening and so on. Basically whatever people are interested in. My shows gonna give them a jolt. Hence the reason it's on late. It's the kind of radio station where people tune in at a particular time to listen to the show that interests them rather than just turning on the radio and leaving it on the same station.

The recording of the whole fecking show.. complete with screaming fans in the background and Rob chanting and owning the crowd!~!! I am in Priest heaven right now! I feel like I'm right there at the gig and am air drumming, singing aloud and roaring with the crowd!

I have the best friends in the world Becks! And I have met so many of them through this site... G has a special place in my heart. My good friend Gbeme (make that GREATFANTASTICWONDERFULFRIEND) sent me an early christmas gift... recording of Judas Priest Live in ST Louis from Turbo era.. not just the song.. The recording of the whole fecking show.. complete with screaming fans in the background and Rob chanting and owning the crowd!~!! I am in Priest heaven right now! I feel like I'm right there at the gig and am air drumming, singing aloud and roaring with the crowd!
This has put so much more than a smile on my face, I'm enjoying my favorite band in the whole wide world and enjoying it so much more due to the fac that it was sent to me from my friend who knows how to make me feel good in any situation!
Thanks G.. I love you!!!

Not exactly "happy" (while still pleased) but I couldn't find the pro-sport thread.
AN AMERICAN WINS THE MEN'S NY MARATHON!!!!! Any runner knows what that means. It hasn't happened in decades as the Kenyans dominate. Just announced it....since 1982.
Awesome! Any runner would say / know the same.
