Flipping channels and catching the Metal God on That Metal Show. Great questions on Stump the Trunk. He couldn't answer when the JP trident made its first appearance? For SHAME! |

Didn't exactly make me happy but thinking about it now gives me a good chuckle.
The other day here in conservative-landia, I was chatting with a girl who was wearing an old "Hooters" shirt. Suddenly, an older co-worker shows up and proceeds to brow-beat said girl (a stranger to her) for having chosen such "inappropriate shirt to have worn out in public." My thought? I wish I were wearing my Motorhead gear. LOL!!!!

hey MY METAL SISTER maybe i could put a tack of weld on it for you.lol.yeah got to watch those small loops .stuff these days is made so fuc?en cheap.maybe try using a small loop from a keyring dont have to worry about the loop opening up. Hey, Guids. I had a close call with my dogtag a few days ago. I was running to catch the metro train when the loop holding the dogtag got too loose and let it fall to the ground. The dogtag didn't break or anything (I was even able to put it back), but now I take care that I don't move the dogtag too much. At least it already has a hole through which I might put in a more secure loop when I come back home. Hope you can fix your JP cross no problem. Good luck. | | paorcamp wrote: | | I actually had to download several images for a jeweller to do it for me...now he hates me because it took him so long and it was very hard, he said he'll never do anything for me again HA!...but I'm very happy with it! | | Vaillant 3.0 wrote: | | JP CROSS!!!

I just looked at her pic it is amazing! You two must have such a lot of fun taking pics together etc.. My husband and I are also into photography. He loves macro lenses and playing with colour and I love outdoor pics.. Taking strange shots of scenery etc. You two are very talented. I will be voting for both of you! super cool of scott.totally awesome . [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Becks from Saturday, August 14, 2010 8:30:32 PM) | | Becks wrote: | | Ok guys, I have an AWESOME story to share! So last night was the G-Taranaki gig, incluing Hail! (with Ripper Owens on vocals and Scott Travis on drums) and Slash. The gig kicked ass. My friend I was with and I left just before Slash's gig finished so we could get to the venue of the sold out midnight gig and wait to catch Scott. We turned up and the security guy was like no he's not here and he's not meeting any of the public. We decided to wait anyways. My friend did all the talking to security people cos I am quite shy lol. She spots this dude and talks to him, an American guy called Dan, and he said yeah it should be fine to get an autograph, Scott is a nice guy really approachable etc. He said to just keep waiting cos they wouldn't be far away. So we waited and not long after a van turned up with the members of Hail! we went down and my friend spoke to him, said welcome to New Zealand, this is my friend Rebecca and she's a really big fan. He said 'Of me?!' being a bit silly lol and I pointed out my SFV shirt (which he would have noticed lol) and we shook hands and he said 'we're going to have a photo together right?' and so he put his arm around my shoulders and we had two pics together, and he signed a copy of Painkiller for me! I told him the set Hail! played was awesome and he said he found it a bit weird not playing on his normal drum kit, and I said I play drums too and he said well you'll know what I mean then and I was like yep sure do. He then asked my friend and I if we were going in to the gig. I said no we don't have tickets and he said 'What?!' and I said we only had tickets to the earlier show. So he turns to the guy Dan and says 'we've gotta get them in man!'!!! Dan was a bit incredulous then Scott said 'they're my guests' so we got taken in the back door to the sold out gig!!!! Holy crap! We saw Slash playing with Uli Jon Roth, Hail! played another small set, and when Slash went to come on he was standing about a metre away from me. What a hell of a night! Scott is such a nice friendly guy I was so happy to get to meet him and he was so generous with getting my friend and I in to the other gig (which was only for a couple hundred people). Here's the pics I took lol. Excuse the close up one of me and Scott I look a bit psycho cos I was very excited.

My signed copy of Painkiller it says 'To lovely Rebecca' hehe.

And Slash performing at the midnight gig.

And another of Slash, with Uli Jon Roth.

Way to go Becks!! I'm so happy you had such a wonderful evening!! That is FREAKIN' AWESOME Becks!!!!! Scott is such a great guy. He always seems surprised when people tell him that he's great. When all I could squeak out at him was "Scott, ....... I love you!" at the meet and greet, he shook his head like he couldn't believe it and then said, "REALLY??" Your pictures with him are fantastic!! How cool that he brought you into the sold out show as his guests!! What an unbelievable night for you. I know you didn't get to see Priest, but this is definitely awesome! Did you happent to mention Travis Tuesdays to him?
