guido...hell yeah! Yeah to most of us true Judas Priest fans the new album is at least ranked within the top 6 ......thats pretty damn good man I rank it at #4 all time but even if ranked at #7 all time that too is pretty damn good!

Oh, HELLS YEAH, J.D. Classic priest! "Down in Flames" on POE? I could see that in a second. Rob singing his own backups is a sure giveaway. NOT sure it is better than Painkiller, though. But, damn, a really close second (if not first). LOVE the album!!!
To close, my buddy, John. Damn, he is good! Nicest guy you'd ever want toi meet as well.
Redeemer Of Souls in my honest opinion is better than Painkiller....the song Painkiller may be BETTER than any from Redeemer Of Souls LP to most people(I think Halls Of Valhalla is equal) but as far as comparing albums....Redeemer Of Souls beats the Painkiller album hands down. . It beats A.O.R. and Defenders too....all my opinion.....but it doesnt matter where it ranks to fans that love the album.
guido.....Doesnt "Down In Flames" remind you of a flavor from the "Point Of Entry" album? Maybe not but it sure does to me ....and the end of the song Hell & Back reeks of the flavor of the end of Evil Fantasies......its awsome these tracks reek of classic Judas Priest! I cant get enough of the new album.....thanks Judas Priest!!!

One of the few Doors tunes I actually like. "Spanish Caravan." Short but sweet. Nice flamenco try at the solo that goes to electric later. Still, no comparison to a real flamenco guitarist, but nice try.

Drove to a quick errand and back and managed to hear the original on the Boneyard. DJ said that Rob recently claimed Sad Wings to be his fav album. One of mine too! Too bad said DJ also messed up by saying "...great tunes like 'Dream Deceiver' " UGH!
