[J.D. DIAMOND] Friday, August 07, 2009 4:30:38 PM

People can like "Popevil" all they want....but I think it was not a wise decision by the Judas Priest management to get "Popevil" to open up for a heavy metal band.

I mean...what were they thinking? Popevil should be opening up for "Papa Roach" or a band like that, not Judas Priest.  I would'nt be supprised if they got  booed

off the stage.  Not trying to upset any Popevil fans, just trying to explain that this band does not belong with Judas Priest.....its bad enough that Whitesnake are

opening up for them cause Whitesnake really doesn't belong opening up for a heavy metal band either. Why doesn't Judas Priest's manager get a "heavy metal"

band to open up for Priest?  That would make too much sense!!!!!  LOFL!!

Hey I thought Nickleback, I mean papa roach were, wait a minute who were those rip-offs? Oh thats right it was Popevil.

Too all that haven't heard Popevil, just google them, if you've got time in your life you don't mind wasting....
They SUCK, IMHO....
Airbourne would have been a great upstart opener....
If you haven't heard Airbourne google them. Think AC/DC with a little more  generic 80's hard rock sound...

Ignoring all Popevil haters as we speak JD !!
Someone has to like them & it might as well be me !!
Seriously they're no where in the league of Judas Priest  but I like their songs anyway !!
They're along the lines of Nickelback--Papa Roach --Hinder

Really? I think priest had a big hand in creating the heavy metal sound along with the "look". In my opinion along with sabbath.... and of course maiden!! But then again there was no metal when they started. SLAYER .. who doesn't love slayer! They took it too the next level.. along with king diamond...

man I would freak with that priest and maiden... I was in FL when Halford and Maiden came through a few back on vacation. I'm still pissed! I have never seen maiden, and I have the trooper tattooed on my back.. one of these days dammit. .. I should apologize I have had wayy to much coffee.
