Here's what Lemmy has to say about RJDs passing, from the Motorhead website:
"I'm truly upset, especially since he seemed to be rallying at the Golden Gods show. Bon Voyage, Ronnie, rest in peace. I'm devastated"

When we saw Heaven and Hell at the Metal Masters tour, I was really struck by how much Ronnie LOVED his fans. One man came walking down the aisle toward the front of the stage and Ronnie walked over to that side so that security wouldn't hassle the man. Dio motioned for the man to come closer and then he reached out and shook his hand, smiled and thanked him. I just remember watching that and thinking, WOW, how AWESOME was that! That man will have a memory to carry with him forever of what a great man Ronnie was. He was genuine and his words came straight from his heart. He will be greatly missed by the metal community.

Might I suggest that someone with a Facebook acct post a comment on RJD's Facebook page pointing them both here and to the Blabbermouth site Momo posted in the first link?
Granted, a small gesture but one his family and friends might appreciate.

Goodbye Ronnie, and thanks for all the music. The pressence and the huge talent you packed into such a tiny body will never cease to amaze me. Enjoy your rest and we'll see youon the other side.

I am very upset. Dio gave us so much great music with Rainbow, Black Sabbath, his solo albums and Heaven and Hell
I saw Heaven and Hell in London and they were awesone.
Ronnie you were one of the greats and you have left us a terrific musical legacy.
My sympathy to your family and friends.
Thank you Ronnie - REST IN PEACE
First I have to give Ronnie's family my thoughts and prayers. When I first heard the news i didnt belive it was true but then i found out it was I felt like I was going to be sick then my heart broke. He was a truley remarkable man and a singer. Deja vu all over again, feels just like when I heard about Dime. Feels like a little
part of me has died. A very large part of metal has died. Today will be a rotten very
crumby day. Just know that tomorrow though I've got to celibrate the life of a true
Metal God.
Your impact and influence will never and could never be forgotten
Your givin the horns with Randy, Bon, Hendrix and all the other greats
Cheers RONNIE JAMES DIO
