ETC.... My Uncle is a mega Horrow buff so it attending several movie screenings a week. I'm off to see Silence Of the Lambs next Friday night, (can't wait!)... Personally i'm not one for horror flicks, but the one's that make me think get some attention.. Yet another thing i have grown up with.....

Raoul Duke: " I woudnt dare to go to sleep with you wandering around with a head full of acid, wanting to slice me up with that goddamned knife"
Dr.Gonzo: "Who said anything about slicing you up, man. I just wanted to cut a little Z in your forehead"

Cheezy as it may be, my favorite horror flick will always be the original Texas Chain Saw Massacre, with the  original  Halloween in second!
[devils_child] Wednesday, March 11, 2009 8:20:54 PM

perhaps ellen could try to be a self important self promoting nincom poop and oprah could play a talentless lesbian?  I mean, both roles should be easy, and they already have done the way you sugest daily.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA!!! Well said, soy! Couldn't agree more! Hey, I have one! How about the "UN-talented?" Seriously, I see a vast amount of possible cast members available for this one! Have a look on your television!

Perhaps it could star Ellen DeGeneres as an untalented, lesbian has-been comic that can't dance and has absolutely NO business in  movie or anything else entertainment related? Our co-star would be Oprah Winfrey! She plays a constantly overweight, self important nincompoop whose only claim to any fame is her skin color!   As the bumbling, yet loveable, nextdoor neighbor, we have Drew (I can't fill Bob's shoes) Carey! What a great film!!  Opening soon at a theater near you!!!!!!

The Innocents 1961. The movie has an unforgettable creepy sad song that goes like this: " We lay my love and I beneath the weeping willow but now alone I lie and weep beside the tree..." Great movie.

Just about out the door to see "El orfanato" = "The Orphanage" in English. Got great reviews and is produced by Guillermo del Toro (Mexican director of "El laberinto del fauno" / "Pan's Labyrinth"). Production from Spain, though and the official entry for Spain's Best Foreign Lang Film for the Academy Award this year. Ghost story. OOOOOOOoooooooooo!

I was a regular subscriber to Twillight Zone Magazine as well as a buyer of many great Monster mags. Talk about nerd, not only do I have the Vincent Price collection but also most Godzilla / Mothera / Gamera films too. All VHS, though, aaargh!  Even my duped Peter Lee / Cushing Dracula favs are on tape. Looks like I am going to have to fix that sucker so as to digitize them. Easier than finding them around here.

Welcome to My Nightmare is a classic hard rock recording. "Oh, she is delicious...And I hope he was!"
I'm not into horror any more. I used to love Nightmare on Elm Street and Pinhead.

Hate to sound like a horror idiot, but I did love Vincent Price. Remember him being in Alice Cooper's Welcome to my Nightmare? That was good!
I also love when my favorite ape showed up in Fright Night as the Vampire Slayer, here's to you Roddy McDowell! Not to mention all the twilight zones he was on!

Well, better late than never but the classic horror film series for me starts tonight. Rented "Psycho" (original, of course), "Black Sunday" (don't know if I have ever seen it) and "The Other" (who couldn't like an evil twin? Been YEARS since I've seen it but still remember the pitchfork in the haystack deathscene!

Sadly, no good Vincent Price (I own a bunch on VHS but VCR is acting up) or what I actually went to find...BURNT OFFERINGS! AARGH! Gonna try another place tomorrow but I doubt I'll find it here in Nowhere, USA.
[guidogodoy] Monday, October 27, 2008 10:13:56 PM
Can I pick Vincent Price's guest spot in the Brady Bunch when they visit Hawaii? LOL!!! LOVED IT. He was the crazy professor who kept talking to that statue.

What about "the Raven?" Had VP, Boris and Peter Lorre! "Tales of Terror" has to be one of my all-time Vincent Price films. Three (if I remember) short EA Poe tales. The Black Cat, with Peter Lorre, was the best!

I'm not familiar with Conqueror Worm - will have to check that out!

I read somewhere that he went to the wake of Bela Lugosi, who was buried in his Dracula costume. Peter Lorre turns to him and says "Do you think we  should drive a stake through his heart just in case?"
