Woody was not as funny as Bugs. Bugs has stuff in it you can't even pick up on until your an adult! When I started watching them when I was older I got so many references I never got when I was a kid. They should still make cartoons like this. Forget all this mind numbing "good feeling" bullshit they make these days. Cartoons on TV today are the equivalent of sitting around and watching a baby drool. That boring. I don't do anything special. We both hate the commercialism of holiday's. I make her a card
out of Valentine themed characters and pictures out of the paper. I cut everything out, paste
everything into place, then make a color copy. Once I went to a flower shop. Instead of buying real flowers
I talked the shop owner into selling me a giant wax paper rose that he had in his window for decoration.
I still remember them laughing and smiling because I wanted that instead of a real flower. I had to walk to my
car carrying this 6ft. rose. It was a busy street so I was getting alot of stares. Most were just shaking their head
and or smiling. it turned out great because she had that thing for years. Frequently it's like,"Remember that giant
flower I got you for Valentines Day" and she'll get this big smile on her face. Over 10 years later and it still
makes her smile. When she gets home today I'll get a picture to show you guys. On my cards I like to come up
with a little saying to show her how I feel. One of her favorites was "I love you twice as much as yesterday, but
only half as much as tomorrow". My way of telling her that my love for her is forever growing. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by acolyte55 from Saturday, May 29, 2010 1:22:48 PM)

While I hope no one gets splattered, I would seriously wonder what lead to the citation? Did they have a picture of you "fly tipping" or perhaps found bags of trash along the side of the highway that was full of envelopes adressed to you??? Did you take trash to one of those closed communities and throw away trash in their dumpsters and some person there turned you in? How does something like that happen? I really don't understand that.

Spapad, I appreciate the support but I didn't want this to happen. Mr. James seems to be somewhat callous.
Don't engage him, just ignore him. Mr. James, if talking about how one feels towards one's wife bothers you
so much why did you even come to this thread? Go to the something pisses you off thread and post there.
I took your first comment as humor(attempted), but the second and third made me wish I could grab you by the neck.

Well as I said earlier, I don't recall ever directing any insensitive comment, insult or remark at you. Maybe I have agreed with people whose opinions you don't agree with but that's everybodys right and you're correct, there's no reason to apologise for that. Oh, I thought you were disagreeing that you can sometimes be a pompous ass. Hence we would agree to disagree about that.
As for the rest it doesn't take a genious to know that I rarely talk to you and when I do I attempt to be nice, and you rarely talk to me. So, I think it's pretty clear we are not what one would call friends. As for my statement being harsh, yes it was. I've seen some rather insensitive remarks made by you for which you have not exactly any remorse for said comments. Most were just agreeing with things that are tasteless remarks. I see no reason for appologies and I'm sure you don't as well.
