The brief two years I worked at the club, I remember there were only one or two bands that we ever asked not to come back after the first night ... It's been so long ago.

Blackstar ... boasted "heavy equipment"!  LOL  Second to Motley Crue back in the day (what they said anyway) ; )

These guys were great fun!  The drummer we called "animal" ... he was hysterical!  Lead singer David, skinny guy in the middle, had a Steven Tyler air about him - lol  I remember they had to use anglo names to get booked in clubs outside of the ElPaso.  Sad.  But such was the business back in the day.  Good band ... funny guys

I'm pretty sure the singer went on to front Racer X

Distractors ... watching these guys play, if memory serves me, reminded folks of Ratt

Surgical Steal was out of Arizona, and Rob financed them at some time I think.  They were also in a B movie about Rodies and Rock Groups with Meatloaf putting in an appearance, I want to say the movie was called Desolation Alley but I really don't remember. Long time ago, and only saw one time. Sucked too.

This is Forces!  The guy on the far right (Joe) was a shuttler I worked with at Hertz ... a long time ago.  Think he was also the guy I called to deliver the car to the terminal when 'Priest arrived that time.

Uncle Guido, I saw your post about having found the old IM stage pass and went searching for the one I "like to believe" I still have from either Fuel for Life or Live Vengence ... and came across some old promo pics.  Couldn't resist sharing them.  Who knows?  Maybe someone out there will recognize one of these faces ... Check 'em out:

First up

so, where on the same page, good.  i would of liked to see the black and blue tour.  I didn't have the wheels or the funds at that time. you know  boc and sabbath.  they trashed the place, last concert held at some speedway, in up-state ny.  near mass. border.   I would honestly say the  priest concert i went to was one of the best.  balcony seats at the palace ,in albany.   a friend of mine had tickets to see led zepplin in buffalo ny. before the death of john .   he had the tickets in his hand when he showed me,   the other tragic story was the plane crash of skynard.  i was reading about it in the high school libary .   all just memories now................

I've seen Priest in 1982 sfv tour, 1984 dotf tour, 1986 turbo, 1991 Painkiller, 1991 or 1992 Operation rock n roll and 2008 metal masters. I did see that fly on the wall tour too. To name a few more. Bon Jovi, Ratt, Maiden, VH, Sabbath, Ozzy, Crue, Dokken, Megadeth, Anthrax, Metallica, Scorpions, Rush, Pink Floyd, Krokus, Sammy Hagar, Ted Nugent , Aerosmith, Rising Force, Motorhead, Alice Cooper, Kiss

The only Priest tour I really wanted to see was British Steel . My mom wouldn't let me go beacuse I was eleven years old.

this is my first created topic, even though i've been a member for years.........since i've been to the "point of entry tour"  with maiden warming them up  "killers tour"  i can safely say i'm old school.  while in germany with the us army , i've been to monsters of rock 84, accept  "metal heart tour"  even ac/dc "fly on the wall"  not bragging by no means. just stating i've been around.   seen priest at saratoga ny   "ram it down"  they blew  the warm up band out of the water.  the glam band ciderella   ok, enough said, lets talk about rock,  we may not always agree, but that's life.   so let's start the topic  flash
