Sounds awesome, I'd love to do a road trippy thing like that my husband would too, he's a JP fan also, though not as fervent as me

Yup, I saw that one (Priest having to cancel, that is). That would really suck. I complain about them having come nowhere near me, I still was able to drive some 11 hours to go see / meet them with my bud, Guitardude.
In retrospect, I had NO little reason to complain. Wonderful time, wonderful company, wonderful show. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Becks from Thursday, February 12, 2009 12:00:03 AM)

They haven't been in NZ for like 15 years, blimmin Australian band not like they've got far to travel LOL.
Priest cancelled their show here last year (logistics reasons), they'd better come back or I'll be mad LOL!

While I love them, I gotta say that I saw them once in Detroit. "Blow up your Video" tour. I left rather unimpressed. Maybe it was an "off night" but, for as many times as I have seen Priest, I have NEVER seen them have such an "off night." Very little audience interaction. Brian's voice was pretty haggered, cost a mint and a short set.
Still, love them. Onto "Dirty Deeds." [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Becks from Wednesday, February 11, 2009 11:51:26 PM)

About that autograph discussion. I agree wholeheartedly with scum that got things signed just to turn it around on eBay. About that autograph discussion. I agree wholeheartedly with scum that got things signed just to turn it around on eBay. I have a large collection of their autographs (Meet and Greet, friends, Halford CD and DVD) and can only see one reason to buy an autographed item on eBay. If it is someone I trust who is just liquidating their collection. It is really easy to tell an autograph selling bastard from a true fan who either chooses or (sadly) is FORCED to sell some items for financial reasons.
