Ive seen pictures of it - I imagine it has to be one hell of a sight to be there. Why do you guys have to make everything so big? In any case, I would like to go through central Asia. The landscape of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and all other -stans looks really nice. And Ive seen some really cool pictures of Astana (Kazakh capital), and it looks like a nice and clean city. Not really what Borat Sagdyev would have us think.
Oh, and I would go to the Americas - specialy South America, the andes and the "badlands" (or however you call them) in the N. America. Edited at: Friday, January 30, 2009 4:33:02 PM |

North Italy is nice, Ive been there a couple of times. Venice, Gardaland, and down to Tuscany in Pisa and Florence, Vinci (Leonardo Da Vincis birthplace). Really nice, but if you plan a trip there, I suggest going in the middle of the winter - cold, but with fewer tourists. That way you wont have to wait in a line for two hours to see anything worth seeing. If I won the lottery big time (which would be impossible, since I don't play) I would take six to eight half years at a time and travel the world, stay in places for some time and really get to know the culture. I would take my daughter with me with two of the best private tutors I could get so she would not fall behind at school. The education she would get just traveling the world would be beyond compare to what a book can teach. First destination,...........Northern Italy, then on................ |

Darth, you can't go wrong there. I have been there and it is lovely! Hey anyplace that will let you stroll around with the beverage of your choice is sweet!
It really is beautiful in the old town section and out toward the ocean, but all that lurks in between,.. well lets just say..........keep your car doors locked. [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Darth_Painkiller_0870 from Friday, January 30, 2009 9:07:15 PM)

I am thinking of popping the question to my gf when we go on vacation later this year, and taking her to Savannah, Georgia for the honeymoon. Why Savannah? It's a nice city with a rich history, and I found the most killer bed & breakfast in the town. She will absolutley melt! |

I'm taking the wife to Lake Tahoe Calif. this June for
our 14th anniversary. Nice quaint hotel near the lake,
dinner on a paddle boat and maybe some gambling on
the Nevada side of Tahoe. Basically just some time for
us, no kids and no distractions!! |
