I often wondered is it that these peope who do these things,, are there lives so empty and full of hate, that they consume themselves on a self destructive path, and then psychologicaly in their own minds blame others, for their own self rightousness and tragity..??? Sad but true if I had to disect them, this is what I see.. from a adults point of view of coming on the board.
I hope some of you read this, and understand, that I have myself have lost a few good friendships because of people doing this. And I feel it has wrecked the very respect and nature of what this board is meant for and what it is meant to be.
May you all find peace someday.. trust me it makes life alot easier!! its easier to smile, than to frown, and believe me.. the energy and time you waste on hating yourself, and others is-not worth it...

Hopefully it will melt quickley.. LOL I will have to check Montana's weather.. My brother is putting his house up for sale at the end of this week. So he is hoping the snow season is over, so people can at least be able to drive to it.

Not that I am a huge fan of ANY telecommunications company, I'd like to have cable just so I could have more than ONE TV!!!
Monopoly. Comcast isn't allowed outside our city limits which means me. Satellite is my only option and hell if I am paying to hook up all my rooms. That leaves me with the need for one of those lovely digital converter boxes.
If I had cable, I'd have ALL my tvs hooked up. The commercials are not wrong. Get satellite and you can get the same channel on every tv in the house! LOL!!!!

The guy checks to make sure i have all my documents (Yes, i had them checked the last time i went there trying to get an appointment)... He starts asking me the usual... How long have you been unemployed, what have you been living off, why did you leave your job?.etc etc.... I have already been asked this 3 times.... You think they could make a note on my file or something.??
So, to end up having him tell me.... We have no appointments left today...........................................................I got there 45 mins after they opened!................. I had maybe 5 people in front of me in the que......................I waited almost an hour in the fucking que!!!........................................For him to say, I have already turned 4 people away this morning, our appointments have filled up...
DO you think in a fucking recession where obviously there are going to be more people applying for unemployment benefits they would have more people working at the unemployment office to cater for this demand?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! 45 mins and no appointments left for the whole day!!!!!!
To make matters worse i had the exact same thing happen to me on Friday.... "Sorry we have no appointments left"................ I walked 40 mins each way to get to the fucking joint and they tell me to come back tomorrow... They want me to finalise my claim by this comming Friday....... If they keep turning me away i'm going to go nuts..in the office... I am at wits end.. I never wanted it to come to this, I just want a fucking job, I'll seriously do almost any job..... BUT NO, FUCKING NOTHING................................. I left the office, jammed my mp3 on and put the volume on max... listened to Painkiller for the walk home. Got home and threw a few things around and yelled some abuse. I think i have finally calmed down. But I swear.... Tomorrow i will be getting to the office 20 mins before they open... so as to make sure i get an appointment. And if they say they need more documents or some shit i will explode.
Welfare is a fabulous thing............... IF YOU CAN ACTUALLY GET ON IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The recession makes it all to went more bad, but the situation here sucks since years ago!! Ya, we have our employment insurance, so I get my monthly money to pay the rent for my apartment, the energy and water supply, my bills and what I need to living for a month (+ the health insurance and so on...), but in the case you are unemployed here you're just a number not a name and that's what really sucks, 'Cause there's no-one to give you a real alternative!!

I have avoided this for the past 3.5 months because i know how much of a pain in the arse it is to deal with these people.
So, I got up bright and early this morning headed down to the local office in hopes of getting an appointment so i can discuss my options and get my application for benefits processed. OK, the place has been open for 45 mins.... I wait in line for close to an hour, listening to most horrible radio music. Get to the front desk finally..... The guy checks to make sure i have all my documents (Yes, i had them checked the last time i went there trying to get an appointment)... He starts asking me the usual... How long have you been unemployed, what have you been living off, why did you leave your job?.etc etc.... I have already been asked this 3 times.... You think they could make a note on my file or something.??
So, to end up having him tell me.... We have no appointments left today...........................................................I got there 45 mins after they opened!................. I had maybe 5 people in front of me in the que......................I waited almost an hour in the fucking que!!!........................................For him to say, I have already turned 4 people away this morning, our appointments have filled up...
DO you think in a fucking recession where obviously there are going to be more people applying for unemployment benefits they would have more people working at the unemployment office to cater for this demand?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! 45 mins and no appointments left for the whole day!!!!!!
To make matters worse i had the exact same thing happen to me on Friday.... "Sorry we have no appointments left"................ I walked 40 mins each way to get to the fucking joint and they tell me to come back tomorrow... They want me to finalise my claim by this comming Friday....... If they keep turning me away i'm going to go nuts..in the office... I am at wits end.. I never wanted it to come to this, I just want a fucking job, I'll seriously do almost any job..... BUT NO, FUCKING NOTHING................................. I left the office, jammed my mp3 on and put the volume on max... listened to Painkiller for the walk home. Got home and threw a few things around and yelled some abuse. I think i have finally calmed down. But I swear.... Tomorrow i will be getting to the office 20 mins before they open... so as to make sure i get an appointment. And if they say they need more documents or some shit i will explode.
Welfare is a fabulous thing............... IF YOU CAN ACTUALLY GET ON IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh...I would love to pay for a training course, If i had a job i would. I know that the job agency i am with will help me pay for a course once i'm on benefits...... When i can get on it that is. Lord knows it will be another struggle trying to get a training course...... I'm still seething from this morning.
Oh and wanna know why i waited in a que for an hour...... They had one guy on handling all the new applications... There are 4 computer stations for them to work from. But no, they had one guy.... who mind you was taking his sweet time.
When i finally left there was about 20 people behind me in the que....... Wonder how many of them were turned away. Assuming they are not still standing in that que.

I know what you mean when it seems the situation is better in other places. Here in New Zealand, lots of people still think of Australia as 'the lucky country', cos it's taken a while for the recession to hit there compared to here.

You'd have to be from the city, as I said. Monaghan sold Domino's in about '98 to dedicate his life to pursuing his Catholic agenda. Oddly enough, to owner of Little Caesar's (another pizza place, non USA friends) to Mike Illitch = owner of the Tigers and the Red Wings.
To date, however, you still see old inner-city folks avoiding Domino's for Little Caesars. Bumper stickers on cars often don't say pro-life, pro-choice. They say "Domino's or Little Caesar's." Monaghan garnered no little amount of ill-will for having held on to the Lions and NEVER investing in them for so long while still holding his religious beliefs (and subsequent boycotts against the teams he basically used as pawns) in front of the careers / teams he was supposed to represent.

Oh you KNOW there are no hard feelings. Were anyone in my city to take the Lions seriously, we'd all be institutionalized by now. Oddly enough, though, they still have had an incredibly strong following since they moved into their new digs at Ford Field. Packed houses just about every game unlike when they played in the far-off city of Pontiac (Ford Field is right in the heart of the city). My personal take on their record is that they hired three miserable coaches, refuse to put any $ into the team and go 0-16 just to get the city all excited when they finally win one!
As for the Domino's pizza reference, inside joke. Tigers were so miserably bad because of their owner Tom Monaghan who, oddly enough, was founder and CEO of Domino's pizza. It was a commonly known fact that not only did he make moves in watering down the expensive beer but that he used a % of every sale of Domino's pizza to found his Right to Life group. Really had a big impact on the city as many didn't believe that supporting a baseball team or buying a pizza there (or anywhere) should have this political spin to it whether you were in favor or not. Major boycott ensued. Even many Right to Lifer's came out publically against this policy. This spilled over onto the Lions when it was announced that Domino's was the only option there too.
You'd have to be from the city, as I said. Monaghan sold Domino's in about '98 to dedicate his life to pursuing his Catholic agenda. Oddly enough, to owner of Little Caesar's (another pizza place, non USA friends) to Mike Illitch = owner of the Tigers and the Red Wings.
To date, however, you still see old inner-city folks avoiding Domino's for Little Caesars. Bumper stickers on cars often don't say pro-life, pro-choice. They say "Domino's or Little Caesar's." Monaghan garnered no little amount of ill-will for having held on to the Lions and NEVER investing in them for so long while still holding his religious beliefs (and subsequent boycotts against the teams he basically used as pawns) in front of the careers / teams he was supposed to represent.

A fluke that Seattle ended up in the Superbowl in January 2006! The Steelers think that they are king shit beating the "Seahawks" and now the "Cardinals"!! Ha ha,if Ben Roethlisburger were to face a real NFL team,he would of got his butt kicked so far up between his shoulders!! I hate the Steelers!
And "Hot-For-Love"...yes I'm sure they are not wishing it was Detroit anymore after that episode of a season! lol!
