I think I lost my "game skills" back when they got rid of Ms. Pacman, pinball machines, and the driver games! No such luck with the playstation stuff, too many buttons going on for me! Just had another hour going over drum lessons, need to get this bit at the end of the lesson squared away LOL. I'll get there, needed a wee break though lol. | | spapad wrote: | | Always ask, even at the people Doctor! Did you ask the vet if there was a generic medicine you could give the cat? I didn't pay that much for Bella's monthly supply of pheobarbitol. Now doubt they gave you the most recent drug the drug reps are hawking. | | Becks wrote: | | Wow Spa that's a very good price for 8 hours of vet work!
I'm annoyed at the vet cos he probably prescribed the most expensive version of that drug - chances are he could have given Marmite something generic for half the price.
GAH dramas with the power company now. Stupid line rental charges for gas when the meter was physically disconnected for MONTHS. Apparently if you sign up with this company and say there is gas (i.e. a meter) on site they start charging you line rental, even when its disconnected! I'm really pissed off about it cos we got $140 worth of daily line charges for a box that was sitting there doing nothing. I don't care what my husband says, I am seriously considering getting the meter removed from the property, thereby removing and gas line charges (which are heinously expensive compared to electricity!).
Rant over lol! | | spapad wrote: | | Good to hear Marmite is doing well. Hummmnnnn, maybe I should question the next time you say your having marmite on toast? LOL
Vets are expensive but sounds like your going to one high priced doctor. One of the times Bella had seizures and had to be in the hospital all day with an IV and Valium injections when needed that only ran me 275.00 and that was for 8 hours of hospital time, then again I live in a small town and the prices are pretty resonable here. | | Becks wrote: | | Cheers MG. Marmite is fine, got a couple of jabs to help with the pain and some painkillers to give him. None too impressed with the price of said pills though - $30 for ten, $3 a freakin pill! Blimmin heck that pushed the vet bill up over $100, I just about had a hernia when the nurse told me the cost, cos it's the most expensive any consult like that has ever been for us. Ah well so long as Marmite is all good from now on
WOW that drive sounds very hazardous MG! I'm glad you made it in one piece! lol. | | MG_Metalgoddess wrote: | | Oh Becks I hope kitty will be okay!!!

Good to hear Marmite is doing well.
Well that was a most interesting drive across hwy 8, to the perimeter, then down town... I kept thinking of the Sabbath song SNOW BLIND! holy crap visibility was 0% in some spots.. and ice everywhere.. was a little better on the way home. But very nerve racking... Oh well thats over with... thank god...

I was really looking forward to Justin's friend terminating this person completely from ANY internet usage. The fact that this person is still out there, lurking and able to access a computer and get on another site to stalk yet ANOTHER misfortunate human being is rather disconcerting.
As usual, our family is to be commended on our resolve and support. It is a very comforting feeling to know we are all here and we care so much. I just wish this filth could have been hauled away by the authorities while his certainly smiling wife applauded.
