Good lord!! You know, that is a common reaction to financial trouble. Economy is bad so what do they do? Aquire MORE debt!! You cannot solve money problems by adding more debt! That increases the problem. It's like adding MORE cancer cells to a cancer patient!! Typical reaction, though. Very wise, my friend. You know, so many people think they understand interest but do not. When people in this country buy a house, they are always worried about "rate"....RATE RATE RATE. Amazing. Rate is merely a payment amount! Seriously. What they need to be concerned with is total cost, just as you mentioned. What will it cost me in full? If you go to buy a car, try asking the sales guy what the price of the car is, IN FULL. All they do is sell you a payment. They do not want you to know what the total cost is!! THAT is how interest really works. [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by _strat_ from Wednesday, March 18, 2009 7:54:19 AM) | | _strat_ wrote: | | Yup. Freeze - Apparently Gordon Ramsay (said 'limey' chef, lol) never swears in real life! I find that hard to believe considering how often he drops the F bomb LOL!
I prefer British comedy shows, never liked Seinfeld at all LOL or Friends (which some of my friends LOVED). I like Little Britain (the original), Mr Bean, Last of the Summer Wine, Vicar of Dibley, Keeping up Appearances, all those shows lol.
MG! OMG that sounds like so much fun! It makes me wish I could meet up with other JP fans like that, I'm the only one I know who is this passionate about Priest I'm so far away from everyone else LOL. |
