Priest..Live was my first..great album and it was the Turbo songs that got me hooked.

Hi Budred, I've found the way to give you an answer quoting your message. I was only a stupid 'maiden', but now Judas gave me knowledge!!

If you want to see a very good concert in Italy, expecially Metal, you have to move to Milan (more than 500 Km from where I'm living - near Rome). If you're happy you can have something in Bologna (300 Km) or Florence (200). Rome is really out. We have to POPE !!!

I saw JP once in Florence, once in Bologna, once in Milan and once in Rome (Ram it down Tour)

I've no problem to take my car and drive for hours, it's my job, but sometimes you have other problems so I've lost many concerts.

Going often abroad for my job (expecially northern Europe) I always check on internet to see If I can see some concerts and I saw some in germany (very heavy country). I travel 'Dressed to kill' (with fuckin' tie) but there's always a Priest T-shirt on my luggage.

I've mentioned it a few times on here already but I am so glad I live where I do when it
comes to music. I've had the opportunity to see nearly every band that I've wanted to see.
There are more beautiful places to live in this country as far as landscape but the concert
atmosphere around me is fantastic.
    Wheeling, W,Va.
    Pittsburgh, Pa.
    Akron, Oh.
    Youngstown, Oh.
    Cleveland, Oh.
    Columbus, Oh.
    Cincinnati, Oh.
    Detroit, Mi.
    Sparta, Ky.
Nowhere on this list requires more than a 5 1/2hr drive with most of these places being within two hours of me.
Nearly every touring band hits one of these places.

Hi Budred,

it's good for you to stay in the States. Here in Italy if you talk about Metal you have only Maiden or some Black/Trash/Sped and so on.

I had few possibilities to see them  (4) in concert but everytime is a great experience and I really hope to continue.

I've a dream. To see them playing in Birmingham (UK) !!

Ohhh yeahhh

Dude, you stole my story,(LOL) except I'm from the states.
Peace bro.

I was 15. I knew few of metal and looking for some metal records a saw a fantastic image. It looked so metal. Once at home... Well now it is History. I've just bought in germany (in fuckin Italy is quiet impossible) teh deluxe edition of 30th anniversary. Next year it will be my 30th anniversary with Judas Priest.

Fast and furious i run the universe...

The first time that I heard Judas Priest was the summer of 1980. I heard "Grinder" from British Steel. I bought British Steel. I have been a Priest fan ever since.

Hi scthree05, welcome to the board! It sounds like you have one COOL sister! Screaming for Vengeance was also the album that started my love of Priest. For me it was The Hellion/Electric Eye. It absolutely blew me away. I had never heard guitars played like that or in harmony the way that Glenn and KK do. And then of course Rob's voice!! That was it for me - I had found what I was looking for! To this day, no other band makes me feel the way that Priest does when I hear them !So welcome aboard, I hope you enjoy your time on the boards!

screaming for vengeance, my sister would come home from school and play you've got another thing comin on her boom box. the hook of that song just stuck in my head. and then she would listen to stained class, walking around the house saying "fall to your knees and repent if you please"   haha. i was hooked
