'Crush 'Em' from Megadeth's Risk album. The whole album pretty awful but whereas most of it is instantly forgettable this track deserves a special mention, being the single it got loads of airplay, and I believe its now sung at- Baseball? Possibly, something like that, anyway it means that instead of disappearing off the radar and going off to die quietly in a corner somewhere, this song has been perpetuated... Dave Mustaine should be ashamed of himself.

Oh, Doro- how could you?
I can't stand it when people take a hard rocking track and try to make a ballad of it, it never works. I remember some emo band called Signs doing something similar with Run to the Hills, but at least they were a terrible poppy band to start with.
Doro and Udo... have NO excuse for this kind of behaviour.

This should make the list...

Well Graig, no disrespect to you but the great thing about all of this is that it is only opinion.
Your opinion matters to you, my opinion matters to me, and everyone else's opinion matters to them,
and that my friend is all that matters. Also I do not bash all 80's bands I just hate Extreme. Slipknot
may be fart noises to you but I like them and couldn't give a rat's ass about who doesn't. I also listen to many
styles of music. when I was younger I thought it had to be heavy to be cool but I've since evolved. I liked
the first couple of albums by LA Guns but don't care for them now. I can listen to anything from the old
Rolling Stones to Judas Priest to Slipknot to Sabbath to Disturbed to old Foreigner to Rush to System of a
Down to Marilyn Manson. In case you don't get it I will never be tied down to one form of metal or music. If I
like it I'll listen to it and won't care what anyone thinks about it. So criticize all you want because I listen to
music for me to enjoy not others. So in closing, instead of telling me what you like must be better than what I
like just stick to the thread and post what you consider to be the crappiest album. I may not agree but I won't
tell you you're wrong because once again, It's all just opinion.

I remember LA Guns very well, Craig. I cannot say with any certainty whom they were influenced by but I never really cared for them. I will admit it. I did not care for a lot of that era. Of course, you must remember that I was in a band at that time in LA and we could not get work because we refused to wear make up and hairspray. We simply did not look and play like that and, consequently, we did not get gigs.

Bands like LA Guns were a dime a dozen. Just watch that movie, "Decline of Western Civilization, the Metal Years" and you will see exactly what I mean. These bands were just god-awful and all of them looked the same, too. Just terrible. Sorry. I hope that is not the aforementioned "bashing"!

The same thing goes for L.A. Guns:

I've always loved this stuff and I can't get enough of it. Can anyone tell me what's wrong with a hard-edged, guitar driven 1980's rock song like the one I posted above? There's absolutely nothing wrong with it as far as I'm concerned. I've noticed that the people who are bashing this classic material are also the ones who are into corporate mallcore crap like Korn, Disturbed, Slipknot, Bullet For My Valentine,... This is ridiculous. Bands like L.A. Guns were heavily influenced by legendary acts such as the Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Cream,... I wonder if anyone will start bashing these acts as well. Now that would be an all time low in the history of this noticeboard.

Dude... Pornograffitti is a kick-ass album. Top notch musicianship! Especially Nuno Bettencourt! Check out that solo at 2:30:

This is incredible. Why you prefer the fart noises of Slipknot above a classic piece of art like Pornograffitti is beyond me.

Now what in god's name is that? Thats exactly the same as literally every other 80's metal bands videos. Do you hate an entire decades worth of music now too? I swear man if you dont start saying you LIKE something I'm gonna fuckin lose it. Cheer up fucker.

I read that awhile back. I loved the comment about him looking
at Eddie like he wanted to bone him. I can't remember the exact
comment but it was funny.

Yes, agree 100%. Ever since I came on this site I have made no secret of my hatred for Charone and everything he stands for and everything he's been associated with. Check out the great Van Halen question thread for some evidence of what a twat Charone is.
