| 'Defenders' definitely get's overlooked, sadly. And I can't understand why! From the fast-paced Freewheel Burning all the way thru the anthem title-track, it's completely solid! If anything it's practically better than 'Screaming', and I know a lot of you out there agree. I completely adore this album, def. one of their Top albums ever. |

Awesome! I love DOTF, it's an album that rarely leaves my car, I love blasting The Sentinel while I'm driving around LOL! Actually I love blasting the whole album

YEAH DEFENDERS OF THE FAITH IS MY SECOND FAVORITE PRIEST ALBUM
you know what gets me is how back in the 80's when it was unleashed i heard critics called it SCREAMING FOR VENGEANCE 2 wtf personaly i think DEFENDERS IS MUCH different and way better of an album

This album, 1984 Defenders of the Faith.. Is simply the greatest heavy metal album of all time! It's so powerful.
Freewheel Burning kicks some serious ass. Jawbreaker is a JAWBREAKER. Rock Hard Ride Free is mindblowing.
The Sentinel is a facemelter. Love Bites is love at first note. Eat Me Alive eats you alive. Some Heads Are Gonna Roll is truly AWESOME.
Night Comes Down is so beautiful. Heavy Duty/Defenders of the faith is heavier than heaviest.
I just had to write this. Judas Priest forever!
