I'm not usually the one to bitch but...wouldn't it make sense if you guys opened the shows with One Shot At Glory? I mean the song -was- voted by majority of people on this board as a must hear, and yet not only do you guys not play it, you even give that Battle Hymn intro to give the illusion that it will be played and then play Rapid Fire. Please Priest change it to One Shot At Glory you know we all want to hear that number.

Hello, Lads!  Fan of many years, this will be my first JP concert and it is something I've been anticipating for the more than half my life.  Your fans are all here supporting you! I wish you all the best, and thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU FOREVER for providing me with the music that has meant so much to me, I can't imagine a world without it.  Richie, welcome aboard, can't wait to hear you shred alongside the BEST METAL BAND EVER!  God bless and Godspeed, and may this be your best tour yet!

We are looking forward to seeing you too!! We may be at the back, thanks to the ticket brokers that Ticketbastard sold big blocks of the first 12 rows of tickets to, but we'll be there! Hoping to spend another incredible night before the show with you just like we did before Ozzfest!! I'm looking forward to my 'Rita Falls!!

With 3 days left to the first date of your tour, my best wishes for a great start to your summer gigs!
The European crowd loves you and I hope you get to play for dozens of thousands of people. Please be sure to post pictures of yourselves and the audience and let us how it's going every now and again.
Richie Faulkner: you will do great, I'm sure of it!!

in the last day or two, the on-sale dates for all the US shows have been removed from your website. I hope that's because the on-sale dates are being moved back until ALL US dates are announced. Currently, the closest show is in Rutherford, NJ, which is not a good venue for me. I'd be really pissed off if these tickets went on sale, then a closer, better venue was announced AFTER I already bought these tickets!

I realize this is not the doing of the band members themselves, but all bands (and their management and whoever controls this crap) owe it to their fans to announce ALL dates BEFORE any tickets go on sale. i really could care less about all the legal and business shit...MAKE IT HAPPEN! NO EXCUSES!

Thanks, and see you on tour!

As you embark on your last world tour, I wish you all the absolute very best!! Priest has been my favorite band for 29 years and has been with me through all the good and bad that life has to offer. All I can say is, thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me one last chance to see you perform live and to say goodbye. Your music means more to me than I can possibly say. As fans, we have a few things that we would love to see on this last tour:

Rob: We the Ladies of the original Sinful Thread, respectfully request that you dust the whip off and bring it back. Many of the Sinful Ladies will be meeting in Chicago to see the show, with a huge "I want to be whipped by Rob Halford" banner that I'm sure you will get a kick out of. If you still have any "I've been whipped by Rob Halford" buttons, we'd LOVE to see those make an appearance as well!

Ian: Please step out to the front of the stage and play so that your fans can show you how much we love you! It is almost impossible to take a decent picture of you way back there.

Glenn: Please make sure to come to the other side of the stage as well. I'd hate to miss getting a great picture of you and seeing you play in front of me one last time!

Scott: Your drum solo during the Painkiller tour was INCREDIBLE! The floor and seats were shaking and my teeth were rattling in my head at the Palace in Detroit that night! One last drum solo for your fans would be FANTASTIC!!

Richie: First of all, welcome to the Priest family! Just be yourself and I'm sure the fans will come to love you. I know you are going to kick some ass!

Thank you for all the incredible music you have given us! See you soon in Chicago and Detroit!!

 To Judas Priest,
Just to let you know I will be there to enjoy the show!

I appreciate the opportunity to see you guys one last time before you get committed to the nursing home. I hope you get to enjoy the facilities with brand new wheel chairs and hand fed meals twice daily and make sure you take your medication. And with thoughtful and attentive staff to help you get dressed and prep your dentures.

To the naysayers of those of us taking a little longer to get used to the idea of KK no longer being in the band.  Get over yourselves!  The rest of us are just as entitled to our thoughts and opinions as the over zealous, at times freakin obnoxious "true" \M/etalHeads!!!  Balls to the wall, in your face, 365/24/7 ... does NOT a metalhead make (though there are some)!  Hell, even Satan sleeps (with one eye open, but he sleeps) - LOL

To the band:

We'll see what youth brings to your well seasoned Metal legacy!  I wish there had been a better way to handle this situation.  Not that it matters a whole helluva lot, but I am sad, very sad.  But, like last time, and many times before, we'll spend our hard earned cash to see you live ... because it's JudasPriest, and because from this foundry friendships have been forged.

The Faithful will out (no matter where their allegiance lies) and will be there for the band, for the music, for what it has come to mean to us in our lives.

See you in Chicago

[Judas] Friday, May 27, 2011 8:25:34 AM

Hey guys just wanted to know if there will be any meet and greets for this tour? I'm bringing my little ones to see the Priest for their first ever concert in Detroit. I would love to have them meet you. Of course I would like to thank you personally for all the years of METAL!!!! My girls are 9 and my son will be 8; they grew up watching your DVD's and rocking Priest tunes. They would be blown away if given the chance to get an autograph and meet you. So, please if you are having any meet and greets spread the word and thank you for all the years of hard work to entertain us. Keeping the faith.

Would be possible for me to interview for a few minutes the JP members when they visit Argentina? I collaborate with radio stations and online blogs, and should say the true: is my first and last chance to see the band live, after 25 years of faithfull following. You opened my heart and head to the Metal essence, thanks for add more sense to my life via art, guys.

I'm sorry to hear you won't be finishing out the tour, K.K. But I respect your decision and your privacy. However, I feel a sense of foreboding. Are you alright healthwise? I hope you won't be a stranger to us here online. Feel free to pop in every now and then to let us know how you're doing. We love you like family..

 Dear KK

I'm still shocked with the notice of your retirement!!

You and the band know the reasons for this unexpected decision, but in the name of all the fans worldwide I'd ask you to think and reconsider your decision. Epitaph will be JP's last tour and it wont be the same without you. Please think again and again...there are millions of fans waiting for the last chance of see you onstage, rockind hard with the style that made you famous with the magnificent Flying V!!!!

I hope you are in good health. Please think about it.

Message specially for KK Downing:
I´m a lifetime hardcore fan of Judas Priest since ever but.... I can´t understand this crazyness... KK, Judas Priest can´t live without you!!
You have been there 40 years, along with Ian Hill, the older metal root of the band... you are my favourite member along with Halford.. The Priest recently agreed to make a last word tour (bad for me too) and you with them... Why left now, before this final world tour and this final last anticipated record? You only need to wait one more year, maybe one and a half, for a complete retirement if you will... please in the name of all the millions of fans the mighty Priest have.. WE NEED to see YOU one more and last time with the band, there´s no real Priest without you, we love the band, we love you to be with them till his final breath, please don´t let us down, we need you there ONE more time!!
Please reconsider your decision...

Sincerely a truly Priest fan from Barcelona, Spain

As an lifelong fan of Judas Priest, I'd like to thank Rob, Glenn, K.K., Ian and recently Scott for all that good moments and great music.

I was 16 when I saw my first JP concert at the Villareal Convention Center in McAllen, Texas. It was the Point of Enntry tour and I still remember that great opening with Solar angels!!!

Since I live in Mexico I had to travel 8 to 12 hours by bus.

Later I was at the Screaming for Vengeance tour in Corpus Christi, Tx; Defenders of the Faith in San Antonio and Turbo at the Summit in Houston, Tx.

More recently, in 2005 and 2008 I was in Monterrey, Mexico for the Angel of Retribution and Nostradamus tours. At the Nostradamus tour I had the pleasure to be with my two teenage sons who are great JP fans too!!!

I am counting the seconds and minutes for the Mexico City 2011 Show to say goodbye to the most powerful Heavy Metal band of all times: Judas Priest!!!! It will be an exciting but also sad moment.

Thanks again to the Metal Gods!!!!!

It's been two weeks since the biggest earthquakes hit Japan. Thank you so much for showing that you care about fans in Japan.
Even if living in an area far from the hardest hit area, life has changed. Due to the damages to the nuclear power plants, electricity is scarce and
some parts experience blackouts for a few hours in a day  if Tokyo Denryoku, an electric power company, judges it's necessary to do so.

I've checked your past Japan tour schedule and noticed that you went to Miyagi, the most hard hit area, in 1984 during Defenders Of The Faith Tour.
Priest maniacs who survived the disasters there are cranking your songs to overcome unimaginable hardships each day, I bet.

Japanese fans are waiting for your next visit on EPITAPH WORLD TOUR in the near future!

I've read that Glenn posses tape of his former band. I wonder will he release the tape of The Flying Hat Band. I heard few songs released on Burried Together, alongside with Antrobus. Reaching For The Stars and Lost Time are great songs. Thank you forever and have a great heavy metal tour this year.

Hey guys I am a massive fan from Newfoundland, Canada. I recently missed you guys when the Metal Master tour was in Ontairio. I purchased A platinum ticket which included the most important aspect of it, the meet and greet. and of course a night of metal with the most important band of my life.Unfortunately I was unable to attend due to family circumstances that could not be avoided. I recieved the V.I.P. tour t-shirt which I used to wipe away the tears in my eyes when reality set in that I missed this massive opportunity. I will never forget it. I have been following all of the tour information and updates hopin you will be here in Canda again. Something I am sure you will be doing. I still dream of meeting you guys and not a day goes by that I don't think of and listen to Priest. You have changed my life in so many ways guys you can't comprehend. My little boy Dominic who is 3 years old listens to you guys and his favorite song is actually the Ripper. I sing it to him when he goes to bed over and over till he falls asleep. I feel so connected to you guys it would such a disaster not to see Priest in concert or to one day finally shake you guys hands. I would do anything to see my dream come true...Please don't forget about me. I will never forget about Priest

Christian.
