Hellrider.....(lol)...its hard enough to get Saxon down here in the U.S.A.!!!!!! They only have I think 3 U.S. shows this tour!! The whole tour! And before this tour...they have'nt been to the states since 2002!!! lol!
Thier manager need to work on getting them around to a more variety of fans!!!!!

Yes Head Banger I see your point,but bands like Poison must not be listed as "heavy metal". As Darth said below....he thinks that it's pop metal...but still "metal"......but its not ANY KIND of metal at all!
None of us here can change what the commercial media wants to categorize these geres but every time I see somebody post and list a band as "metal"...I'm going to have my say on it because "I can".....and I will. Darth,...these bands Poison and Cinerella..ect..are in no way shape or form "metal"..its not "pop metal".....its not hair band metal..its not glam metal .....it is not "METAL" at all. Metal must be left out of these titles.

lol! Yeah hellrider un skinni bop bop bop bop!!! lol! Here is a photo of "Whitesnake" in 1987 the year this album Cobras posted came out....this is nowhere near a "fuck off to glam" attitude...just look at them! lol! If anything...this is a statement "for" the glam scene supporting "glam rock"! Nice pink shirt this guy is wearing hellrider!! lol!
Sorry Cobras...I could'nt let this one slide here....I know your intentions were positive and I know you were just trying to get the point across to those who want to post a classic rock album in this thread..ect..ect..ect..but I had to clear up the aesthetics and genre of Whitesnake in the era of 1987.

With that being said....still Whitesnake are nowhere near being "hard rock" at all. Just because a band pumps up volume with a few riffs..ect..does'nt mean they are "hard" ....Whitesnake are "soft".Just an observation.

WTF??? Granted, Whitesnake's 1987 self-titled album is a great hard rock album. However, it is in no way, shape or form a "Fuck You" to the glam movement. Hell, I can't even think of an 80's hard rock album that is any sort of a "Fuck You" to the glam movement except for Appetite.
