Believe it or not I beat out a guy about a foot taller than I am. He even told me when the lights came on that he had that stick I got but that I was just a little stronger. Here's the funny part. I really liked the Dio Disciples show Sunday. Ripper isn't Dio of course but in a live setting with former Dio bandmates playing with him it's a pretty kickass show. My fourth time seeing them and I loved them everytime. I got a guitar pick from Bjorn Englen(bass) and a drumstick from Simon Wright. The bad thing about the drumstick is that I have 11 total but 6 of them including last night are the exact same stick and now I forget who they came from. Should have written on them as I got them. Will probably hit their Pittsburgh show a couple of days before that one and possibly Detroit a couple of days after. Otep is coming back to Pittsburgh in Oct. and I'm considering that one too. Get to see Ripper tomorrow with Dio Disciples at "Ripper's Rock House" in Akron Ohio. Dio Disciples uses two singers but Oni Logan isn't doing tomorrow's show. I like Ripper better so I'm glad. Small venue and only 200 tickets sold with a meet n greet after for anyone who wants to stay. Can't wait, it should be pretty cool.
