thats great to hear your mother will be allright. [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by joedraper from Saturday, September 05, 2009 3:34:32 AM) | | joedraper wrote: | | Morning!!
I spoke to my mom on the phone this morning. She still sounds pretty weak but she will be ok. She just needs to stay put, listen to her doctor and stop fecking smoking!
She scared the shit out of me so now that the threat of losing her is going, I'm pretty angry. She chain smokes and that is why she got the lung infection in the first place. I just know that in a few days, she'll be feeling better and she'll light up again. Even though she promises me she wont.
I'm just grateful that for now, her life does not seem to be at risk anymore.
Thank you so much for your well wishes, they certainly help in times like these xxx |

Yes. Know it and have done it. You have to rip it. If it is already DVD, you are halfway there (harder to go from VHS to DVD). You just need a segmenting proggie. Something capaple of putting in a chapter menu.
PM me. What type of computer, how much RAM, harddisk space (you'll need a ton) and I can help. Google +segment +DVD (keep the plusses) if you want to go around me. Haven't looked lately but the advice I saw years ago was very solid. You'll have to rip the dvd to your harddrive to do anything first, though. This is not really pissing me off. It's just a question, but I didn't know where else to put it:
I have a few DVD's with old Headbanger's Ball episodes on them. Every DVD contains a two hour episode. I was wondering how I can cut that episode into pieces and upload those pieces to Youtube. Does anyone know? Guido/Randy, don't you know this? I once read that you are a computer expert, so...
Thanks in advance. |

Actually, postage here is not that expensive you if don't tag a bunch of stuff on like certified, and return receipts, but I will certify the shoes so If they get lost all I have to do is show them the reciept from the box and be rembursed and send the money back to Becks. BUT in all my years dealing with the US Postal service they have never lost a package of mine, so they are pretty good, and as long as it's traceable outside the US it will usually gets there without trouble. Too bad the USPS has so much compettion that they might not be around for much longer. [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by joedraper from Sunday, September 06, 2009 4:09:33 AM)

Just reading your conversation ab out postage.. We have the same problem here. About the only thing that I can get out here at a decent postage rate is cds and dvds. There is soooo much I would order if only I could get decent postage but alas, Africa seems to be on the butt end of the delivery services list lol.

Trying to order AC/DC chuck taylors from converse.com for Craig and I, which would have been sent to London for my sister to pass on. Certainly won't be ordering them when shipping is $105US!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF it's just two pairs of shoes?!?! What a rip. |

I only have one parent left and I don't handle things like this very well.
I hate that nobody will tell me what is really wrong. |

All this talk about bulbs reminded me I need to change a tail light that can't seem to make up it's mind whether it's burnt out or still has some life left in it - lol Think I'll go ahead and change both. Fortunately, all I have to dismantle are the tail light covers nowhere near being attached to the fender! Thank the Jeep engineers ... simple minds think alike - lol That's why I love the old Jeeps ... not a lot of components and easy to fix! ; ) |

modern cars are put together with no regard for repair later, much less customization. the first Magnum we had on fleet a bird hit the headlight. had to remove the bumper and fender to install new light. 5 hour job. The good news is the worst new cars are still way more reliable than the best from the 80's (or older). still, the old cars were easy to work on compared to now. supose thats good cause you had too.
