That was facinating and she does show all the signs of the syndrome. Poor little girl, wish I could have an uplink from work to home so I could talk to her and watch her. Don't think the boss would go for that though. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed tomorrow until I hear from Flora about what she comes home to. My new little angel Lucy, is beside herself if either I or my daughter leave the house for a few minutes. She is not consoled that there is still one person on the house with her. She whines and paces the floors until the other person comes back. I need a plan for tomorrow as it will be her first day alone in the house until around 3:30 when my daughter gets home from school. I'm just a little concerned how she is going to act all alone for 7 hours. Edited at: Sunday, March 15, 2009 1:15:25 PM Edited at: Sunday, March 15, 2009 1:16:17 PM |

Thank you Hellrider and Thank you Shirls so much for the links. I will go there now! Thanks! My first cattledog pup was so bad with this that I had to line the bathroom with cardboard and put him in there for the day or he destroyed furniture while I was gone. I have gotten Lucy, her own "Pookie" stuffed animal so she can carry it around with her if she needs it. The cage is out of the question, due to the wounds on her. So I'm looking to get creative, just have not put my finger on it yet.

What my sister did with her first dog is leave the TV on for the day while she's at work. That might also be a method you can use. Either way, Lucy will eventually get used to the temporary loneliness. | | spapad wrote: | | Anyone got a good solution for "separation anxiety" for dogs?
