It appears that we are finally experiencing a period of relative calm. I am grateful. I know there will be days like yesterday. I understand all that. I sincerely hope that, if I ever find myself being barraged with insults by some lunatic, you all are as kind and stalwart in your defense of me!!!

I have noticed an interesting phenomenon here of late. I like to refer to it as the "I will leave forever if you want" Syndrome. Why is it that so many of our members are choosing to sacrifice their membership here and leave when something drastic occurs?? Does our membership and relationship mean so little that we are willing give it up, or is it a demonstration of "supreme" sacrifice??? Either way, I find it disturbing.

We all know that there are trouble makers and idiots in the world. Sometimes, they manage to find their way here and disrupt our harmony. Quite often, one or more of us (myself included) act out in a way that may be a bit out of character. We may say something we do not really mean. All of this is normal, human behavior. I just do not see why some of us feel we must end our membership to show our contrition??

We make mistakes. All of us. Please take a moment to consider the value of your membership here and what you mean to the others before offering yourself as some kind of human sacrifice! Each and every one of us are special. We are family. You cannot just walk out on your family. ( And NO Ron!! I am not singling you out specifically!!! HA!!!!!!!)

RON, IN MY OPINION, NO APPOLOGIES NECESSARY. YOU DID NOTHING WRONG. YOU JUST  TRIED TO PROTECT THE INTEGRITY OF THE BOARD. YOU STOOD UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVED WAS RIGHT. NOT EVERYONE IS STRONG ENOUGH TO DO THAT. I LOVE READING YOUR POSTS. YOU ALONG WITH OTHERS ARE THE REASON I COME BACK TO THE SITE AS OFTEN AS I DO. YOU ARE AN IMPORTANT AND RESPECTED PART OF THIS SITE. I LOOK FORWARD TO GETTING TO THE COMPUTER WHEN I HAVE  TIME TO CHAT WITH FRIENDS. 

PLEASE FOR ONE MINUTE DO NOT THINK OF NOT COMING BACK. ALL YOUR FRIENDS ON THE BOARD WILL BE THE LOSERS IF YOU ARE NOT AROUND.

Leaving is all I wish for, not physical harm. Just want to be "Left Alone!" Sorry, could not help quoting some  there. 
The fighting has to stop with we of the board. I will not respond to this. Better that way. especially if your me! You know I love you and I wish much for you, but I will not fight him, just degrades me further than what he has done to me. People who know me, know I am not that person, people who know him, well, god help them.

Freeze, you speak such words of wisdom. I've never believed in attacking someone to that degree no matter what the situation that the attacker thinks that  he has been justified in doing so. And to speak to a lady/woman... To speak to any fellow human being in that mannor and to show your "ugly side" with some of the posts made is just so awful. I've remained silent because I do not like to get involved in these squables on the board. However, I just can't sit here and keep quiet when watchng how a fellow board member is being so viciously victimized.  First and foremost, I'm a member here because I want to be in the company of fellow Priest fans. I've grown to think of many of the people I've met here as a second family and it hurts to see the fighting going on.

I shudder to think of what newcomers like Udo must think of us. I only hope that he doesn't put all of us in the same class as the resident trouble causers here.

Might I suggest that we no longer fuel this individuals fire? Answering back and allowing him to ruffle anyone's feathers anymore is just giving him what he wants.

Susan, I believe that you are a respectable, articulate and very pleasant person. Do not let one person have such control of your time spent here. Pay him no more attention. You are a lady and you at least know how to act like one. Your friends will stand by you and support you.
