Heheh...he evolves into Wartortle, then Blastoise. Yup...I was a big fan of the show. I still know the first opening song by heart!
Today I had to eat my words. I went to the grocery store (which is a block away from where I live), did a store-wide inspection, and guess what...I found Jarritos in glass bottles!! They were right next to the beer and wine section...which is a section I normally avoid (since I'm not old enough to BUY any beer nor wine...less than a month left to go!). ¡Es que no me gritan, damnit! No me dicen, "Aquí estamos, hermana lela!". [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by guidogodoy from Thursday, January 21, 2010 1:25:44 AM)

Jarritos in glass bottles here. I kid you not. I'll have to take a camera next time I go to the store. As for cerveza, while I have seen Negra modelo, Tecate and both Dos equis and Dos equis ámber, it has only been in the tourist places. Like Corona. You can find it but I have never seen any of my family or friends drink it. Personally, I like Negra modelo (not just Modelo) but, then again, I'd take an oatmeal stout or porter over all the above. Never see it, though.
Sadly, México isn't known for beer. That is why I stick to Indio and tequila. I prefer a good Don Julio añejo / reposado puro but try a "bandera" if you want to try something interesting. Like the flag: red, white and green. Very common way to drink tequila. I just don't like the sangrita.

The pokemon under the bottle caps thing was a LONG time ago. I was in Guerrero when I ended up getting a Jarritos with a picture of Squirtle underneath the bottle cap. Then the day after I got one with Bulbasaur. I kept the Squirtle one for years before it got lost.

Vaillant, don´t forget the "Tortas ahogadas", but beware, they're REALLY hot..... you can drink a "Estrella" beer to cool down...(Quoting Message by guidogodoy from Wednesday, January 20, 2010 3:10:57 AM)

I'll be going to Mexico this spring break for the first time in (almost) three years with my mom! First to Zacatecas and then to Jalisco (Guadalajara). We will be there mainly for vacation purposes, and for some other reasons that I shall not tell.
Should be fun though. I'll take pics, if anyone is interested.

HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No my friend. There are no "studs", unfortunately. But the "watch" is actually not a watch. That face is hard to see in the picture but it is a skull and crossbones that matches one of my rings! It's very cool. I mentioned studs to the Princess and she proceeded to inform me that I would be a dead man if I "ruin" the trench coat she paid a pretty penny to get me......HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, five more sleeps indeed. Four as of today. I am not really feeling that anticipation just yet but, by Friday, I am sure it will hit me. Stupid nasty weather here in Vegas has me concerned about my health, though! I have a slight cough and we will be getting stormy, cold, rainy weather ALL week. Just what I needed! This friggin town is BONE DRY 357 days a year and THIS week we get storms........

Oh Angel my dear, it is an honor just to have you listen! I appreciate all your kindness but I fear that groupies with your incredible looks would be far too great a temptation...HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In fact, my sincere thanks to ALL of you. As always, your wonderful support is so touching. The Princess and I just walked in from a little "shopping trip". We went to the Las Vegas Harley Davidson store and I purchased some killer boots, chains and a nice leather wristband! The boots are just awesome! Cool Harley emblem on the side and on the toe! They have laces and a buckle. Just gorgeous. We also bought me a nice, black shirt to wear with my black jeans and trenchcoat. I am GOLDEN, now!!!!! VERY cool look.
Well, ONE week to go and I take the stage for the first time in TWENTY YEARS!!! YEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do I still have the "chops"???? I guess all will be revealed that night! 8PM, January 23rd............
